DUMPED - after being a supporter since 2003 I have had it with the poor connection with Gmail (acutally creating duplicates), web site outages and being charged a whole year of service after calling one week after the automatic charge to my credit card for $59.99. Stay away from this company.

Plaxo sync sucks. It "took over" my really clean address book, doubled up information, brought back contacts I had deleted and screwed everything up. Seems like a beta copy at best, better get fixed FAST or they'll lose alot of subscribers.

Don't give away your privacy. "Syncing" means sending the contents of your address book to Plaxo, which is owned by Comcast. Would you really just send your private address book to Comcast so they can spam your friends? Don't do it.

This sounds like a great service. I have two reservations: (1) Only a total newbie to life would put anything like their personal calendar, address book, etc. on their work computer. Your employer is privy to everything on your computer. (2) The hazards of having your address book online are well documented. That's unfortunate, because it can be so convenient.

I think one of the fundamental problems is that you have too many different calendars. Just choose one calendar and stick with it :)

Also, a lot of the "activity stream" information you have about friends and family etc from the social network should consider being replaced using Google's OpenSocial API. This would help spread Plexo to other places on the web embedded within any application written on top of OpenSocial.

I will said Plaxo should know Text to not work in Flash that well, especially when you encode with a Free Ecoding System as YouTube's. The are a way to make Video more clear, do not use YouTube for your encoding, but need to be done by a Broadcast Encoding System (which is not free) and you need to use a paid service for hosting of your Videos. Yes it should be professional done, this is a shocking bad video for Plaxo, when Plaxo is a great program.

One happy Plaxo (Premium) user. Love those extra features, like the LinkedIn sync point and the duplicate remover.

Notice some comments about the presenter's talking rate ... surely the guy knows how to keep pace and I can imagine some people can't keep up. Personally, I just like the excitement he throws in. Keep up the great work Plaxo!

I enjoyed your fast talking. Gets you to the end point faster.  I think the problem is - if you aren't experienced with this concept - you may need to talk slower for people to digest what you are saying. However -for me, it was fine!!

I think this is a smart app, but this video presentation is awful. They've edited the audio to accelerate the speaker's delivery and as many others have notes it doesn't work. The image clarity needs to be higher for this kind of thing,too, so that we, the prospective customers, can see the important details that make up the look and feel of the app. I'm not going to try it based on blurry, hyper-fast-paced images like we see here.

I can assure you that I actually talked that fast :)

It's also hard to get the quality you might want in a size and format that YouTube can handle. I'm not a professional video editor, but I think it does the product better justice than just screenshots and a bulleted list of features.
