As an educated American I have to laugh at the America overrun with idiots: what the typical american idiot doesn't understand is that when the French got overrun by the nazis in 1940 THE BRITISH DID TOO (something the british are always avoiding talking about) and the british had to drop their weapons and run home to merry England via DUNKIRK.

I think that these comments show how little is taught about our history anymore. Many people who have posted do not understand that France was an ally during WWII and we stepped in to take France from the GERMANS who had taken it over within a few weeks (all except Vischy France).
