  • i use 3dsmax 2008... how can i make it more realistic when rendering without V-ray?

  • @2aropax3 Hello, you can use mental ray which is a preset in 3Ds max for a realistic render, you can also use the normal lights including the skylight. That makes it good also. hope that helps?

  • its so amazing , i like it so much, but i want to know something did you use V-ray or Mental ray, and which one is better than other?!

  • @omarelkady HI, I used Mental ray on this one, Vray is good but i don't like the fact that you have to install it where as mental ray is already there and the materials work without the need of making Vray ones. I personally use Mental Ray for most projects and very small objects I tend to use Vray. They are both good though I reckon.

  • @Acritomedia Thanks allot for your replay me too prefare mental ray specially on 2011 and 2012 version its amazing ,and very amazing product.

  • haha shit, see I can model most of this stuff, but I cannot for the life of me do lighting or good renders so my stuff always looks like shit. I'm fairly new to all this though so I guess I just gotta keep spending time on it and learning

  • can u plz send me a link 2 this sick song? [this specific instrumental]

  • Yesh Subscribed, go 3ds go boom boom.

  • I jelly ..

  • OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG PERFECT RENDER!! XD

  • From an architectural standpoint bravo you did very well. We do 3d ourselves this is amazing work.

  • how long was the rendering time?

  • @C4FishingTeam Hi, each image took around 4-5 hours. Thank you.

  • here comes the mute button

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw

    u r exelent!!!!!!

    5/5 good woork

  • @dabih100 Thank you for your encouragement.

  • Hello Acritomedia :) I know this might be a tricky question, but which one seems to be more realistic Mental Ray or Vray?

I don't know why but all Vray works I've seen so far are way less realistic than Mental Ray ones...That's just my experience I might be wrong, but something just seems to be wrong about Vray, there's always something unrealistic about its lighting.

So I just wanted to hear your opinion.

    Thanks!

  • @VEGETADTX Hi, I think they are both equally good as long as you spend a lot of time learning one and becoming very good at it. I personally prefer Mental ray for interior renders and Vray for products. I found it easier learning mental ray though.

  • Can you tell me if the rendering part done by other rendering engine?

  • @beavertown2006 HI, the rendering part was done using Mental Ray in 3Ds Max. Cheers

  • did you use v-ray? looks amazing.

  • @malkavianantitribu hi, I used Mental Ray for this one. Cheers.

  • A TUTORIAL is when you can SEE what someone is doing

  • @TheChrisRob Cheers for your remark, read the description properly.

  • I really wish you could slow this tutorial down so beginners like myself can see what your actually doing. But nice work anyways.

  • @PowderpuffPuncher There will be slower ones on our site with full naration and this is just an idea to show you the type of things you will learn. Thanks for your concern.

  • @Acritomedia So when can we expect the site to be up and running?

  • @PowderpuffPuncher Hi, sorry for the massive delays. we launch the full site with all functions before the end of august but launch the demo by end of next month. It has taken a while because of the size of it and complexity. But all is looking good now.

  • Hello, from where I can buy the dvd tutorial ?

  • @ClassicoVa The tutorials wont be for sale but will be free to members of our upcoming site this year. We hopefully we reveal the launch date in a few weeks. But in the mean time you can subscribe to our mailing list at our site.

  • Hello, I haven't actually looked at both but I reckon the architecture one either has more architecture related tools or less tools than the normal one.

  • this is amazing. really you areawesome

  • @massarde9591 Thank you for your kind words,
