@danny3man HI, this tutorial was initially meant to be sold through our site but I decided to offer it free through youtube. I have already uploaded two of them but more will be uploaded between this week and next week. hope that helps. :-)
@2aropax3 Hello, you can use mental ray which is a preset in 3Ds max for a realistic render, you can also use the normal lights including the skylight. That makes it good also. hope that helps?
@omarelkady HI, I used Mental ray on this one, Vray is good but i don't like the fact that you have to install it where as mental ray is already there and the materials work without the need of making Vray ones. I personally use Mental Ray for most projects and very small objects I tend to use Vray. They are both good though I reckon.
haha shit, see I can model most of this stuff, but I cannot for the life of me do lighting or good renders so my stuff always looks like shit. I'm fairly new to all this though so I guess I just gotta keep spending time on it and learning
Hello Acritomedia :) I know this might be a tricky question, but which one seems to be more realistic Mental Ray or Vray?
I don't know why but all Vray works I've seen so far are way less realistic than Mental Ray ones...That's just my experience I might be wrong, but something just seems to be wrong about Vray, there's always something unrealistic about its lighting.
@VEGETADTX Hi, I think they are both equally good as long as you spend a lot of time learning one and becoming very good at it. I personally prefer Mental ray for interior renders and Vray for products. I found it easier learning mental ray though.
@PowderpuffPuncher There will be slower ones on our site with full naration and this is just an idea to show you the type of things you will learn. Thanks for your concern.
@PowderpuffPuncher Hi, sorry for the massive delays. we launch the full site with all functions before the end of august but launch the demo by end of next month. It has taken a while because of the size of it and complexity. But all is looking good now.
@ClassicoVa The tutorials wont be for sale but will be free to members of our upcoming site this year. We hopefully we reveal the launch date in a few weeks. But in the mean time you can subscribe to our mailing list at our site.
Hello, I haven't actually looked at both but I reckon the architecture one either has more architecture related tools or less tools than the normal one.
