  • Very informative! You are bless and highly favored!!!

  • you did a good job with exlaining the meaning but it is a commandment for us Jews. anyone born to a Jewish mother or have valintarily entered into by a lagitimate Torah Authority are commanded to. I think your heart is in the right place but it is very offensive to see people doing it who are not commanded.

  • I like it

  • Thank you for putting up this video!!! i've been wanting a prayer shawl for sometime now, but was still a lil fuzzy on the significance. So before I purchase i wanted to gather as much info possible about the prayer shawl, and determine if i really want it. You helped clarify a lot especially with the broken down meaning of "Tallit". Will continue in reshearching, but i am a step closer to getting one of my own. Thanks and God bless :).

  • Love the vid Stacey - keep posting , beautiful sister!

  • @Yonah613 - Read the Story of Rabbi Eliezer in your Midrash! who through miracles defended HIS faith even amidst the doubting Rabbis.... Even HEAVEN opened up - saying why are you fighting with Rabbi Eliezer? He is Right! and even Hashem Laughed when Elijah said that Hashem said "My sons have defeated me". meaning that according to Orthodox Judaism (more like Rabbinism) says that even though a rabbi might be wrong he is never to be questioned.

  • @Yonah613 With all due respect - Judaism is the belief in the Old Covenant - based on the ORAL LAW or TALMUD - OUR faith is the OLD AND the NEW - the Torah and the Brit Hadasha - WRITTEN SCRIPTURE ONLY - No Talmud or "oral law" - Please stop thinking Hashem is only speaking to you.

  • thanks for the information on this subject. i have did a small study or researched a lil on this subject. great video.

  • God Bless you Sister this was a beautiful presentation and gave me a lot of conformation to the information I

  • You are an amazingly beautiful woman - yes its true. But, please know that we Jews are commanded to wear the Tallit and not you xtians.

Nothing personal but could you ask them to kindly stop wearing this, It truly offends us...thanks.

  • @Yonah613

Sorry if it offends you. I don't think it should offend though (and that's my humble opinion). Through Jesus we all have ties with our Jewish roots. Thank you.

  • @Yonah613 although it is worn more by the jewish culture. the meaning of the tallit has a use by all looking to have private time with god. many faiths use it and there are verses in the bible to lead you to better understand its use is more than just for a certain culture.

  • @SHELLYBELL11 You better stick to painting your nails cuz you have no idea what you are talking about. Tallits are a Jewish item worn only by Jews. You are attempting to steal our religion and our culture. You never see Jews wearing a cross. Your version of the Bible hated us for following the Law and now you want to take our identity. Stay Greek and Roman because you are not a Jew.

  • @Yonah613 YES JUST LIKE WHITE WEDDING DRESSES WAS STARTED BY ONE CULTURE AND ADAPTED BY OTHERS. SO HAS THE PRAYER SHAWL OR TALLIT. AND ATTACKING ME OR OTHERS FOR WANTING KNOWLEDGE AND FINDING THE MEANING FOR IT SHOWS YOUR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. GOD WILL LEAD US TO REAL THE MEANING REGUARDLESS OF HOW YOU MAY FEEL. MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU ON YOUR SEARCH FOR CHRIST. BE BLESSED

  • @SHELLYBELL11 my friend I am sorry but you actually do not know what you are talking about, you compare a commandment to Jews from the most high with a white dress. This is sad and wrong. I am not attacking you just being very honest, please leave Jewish things for us. I am happy that Christians support us dont get me wrong. I am not on a search for Christ - this is a Christian thing so you must pursue it not us Jews. One Love.

  • The Goyim as you call us - have NOT replaced you- but we are GRAFTED into the ONE Covenant Hashem gave the Original People - Through The Pesach Sacrificial Lamb of Adonai - and Now WE wihtout your permission - because we never needed it to begin with are coming to the knowledge of our Faith in Adonai through Yeshua Ha Machiach- and Keep the Noahide Law - through the Grace of Hashem by His Son.

  • @Yonah613 Q: How many surgeons does it take to do a circumcision?

    A: Four skin doctors

  • I wish I could hear that song you were playing in the back ground

  • What in the world?? Now there is a prayer shawl ministry....where is this in the new testemant? Is this associated with the law??

  • Try not to read too deep into it Mrs Meka, it's mostly symbolism and a tie with our roots in the Hebrew traditions. It's certainly not a heaven or hell issue, but it is a beautiful act of worship.

  • not that I'm reading deep in it but I do notice alot of NEW things added to our faith. Who is we? or did you mean our like us?? I don' t have hebrew traditions...no not a heaven or hell issue as the new tongues movement and people sending money into preachers to heal them with a hankercheif but more a matter of accountability and discernment. I heard the host say the prophets are supposed to wear them when they prophesize thats why I asked where did that come from?

  • Stacey this is good. Long time no talk. I requested you on FB, get back at me I need to talk to you ASAP!!! James

  • Also when God called for his people to first wear this sacred garment in Numbers 15 , He said in verses 39-41 that they were to look upon it and remember His commandments.

  • Nice job sister, G-d bless you!

    Keep up the good work!

  • great was a good video to listen to, prayer shawl! all the way! lol

  • This was a blessing

  • As a follow up question: Is there an exact way to use the prayer shawl? Are there do's and don'ts?

  • There is a book called "Talitha Cumi" by Bishop John Francis-that really helped me alot regarding the prayer shawl.

  • Thanx

  • Thank you for posting this, very informative. I always wondered about this topic.

  • WHAT IS THAT SONG PLAYING

  • father i stretch my hands to thee...

AZUSA...bishop morton... I RECOGNIZE THAT SONG ANYWHERE! its on BISHOP PEARSON'S CD!

  • Praise the Lord, Thankyou so much for taking the time to make this video, it's really helpfull, informative and really intresing about the hem of jesus's garment. but most of all it has answered my question. may the Lord bless you, your entire family and your ministries in Jesus name! i really appreciate you taking the time to answer my email.
