Portion control is another big one - I found it easier just to get a smaller plate and eat off that. A full plate of that was less the half a normal full plate and psychologically I finished my plate so generally felt fuller. They have great plates that have lines on them going like this amount of your plate for meat, this for veggies to teach portion control.
