This whole section with Alice large in the Rabbit's house and the Rabbit, Bill and Pat trying to figure out what to do is the most absurd sequence in the movie - which is why it's my favorite! :) When I had the movie on VHS and used to watch it all the time I would rewind and watch this part over and over, it was just so absurdly and hilarious.
the scene at the rabbits house and the rabbit, pat, and bill trying to figure out how to get alice out of the house is my favorite part of the whole movie, mostly because for me its the most funniest part. Especially at the momments at 3:42 to 5:16 and at 7:11 to 7:54.
I always giggle at the scene when Alice is huge inside the house, and outside Bill, the White Rabbit, and Pat and running around trying to figure out a solution but get nowhere. You can't help but laugh at the absurdity of the entire situation.
the point of alice in wonderland, and which is portraid in all the alice movies is independence. the story is based on alice pleasurance liddel, who told lewis carroll about her dreams, and her experiences with her body changing. she explained how things began to change from childhood to adulthood, and that's where independence comes from.
i would love to add i love pat, "i was out the front digging for apples." lol

@JonathansGurl91 It is not a good movie, Burton's didn't do it right, there's no one good word, it is only nice make up!, this one is much better and it is closer to the book.
well that is your opinion, you don't like Tim Burton's version that's ok but I like it and yes there are other really good versions of it, but it's what I like. ^_^
I know, that's my opinion, I am just saying... and, well.... the best of Alice is the knowledge.... and Burton's one has nothing about it, I really love Burton's movies, like Sleepy Hollow and Edward Sciss... but Alice is a book and as a book it has a lot to teach, it is so sad people can't learn anyhing from his version, everybody should read the book, then everything would be fine, thanks for your comment JonathansGurl91, hope you've enjoyed it!
@Nadianva Leanr from the books? I read the books a few years ago, so my memory may be hasty, but I just recall it being whole lot of nonsence, which is great, the book is unique in that matter. I really just see how anyone could learn anything from it. What has the book got to teach?
@Nadianva why on earth do you put words into other people mouths?? When they say they like tim burton´s doesnt mean you can just tell them not to... that´s not right. And by the way the movie or book doesn´t teaches us anything. they´re all just stories..
@Summ3rDr3ams well, if you are not a reader we cannot talk, we are different, I can't speak to you if you don't want to listen, (that's an example) fine by me... I wonder if you speak any other language, if so, it would be so easy to understand, this is more about culture...
she's in wonderland so she doesn't need directions to it but I can understand mostly. She doesn't get them in the books and besides everyone in this book is on acid... or at least the author was when he made it.
@chadkelley Do you mean the Syfy adaptation called Alice? If it's that one, you can search in youtube by Syfy Alice Part 1 Piece 1, and there you can search the rest of it. Still the books are for both children and adults, so, it is made for both types :P The one that is defenetly not for children is the video game for PC called American McGee's Alice (It is distrubing and gory for when it was out, right now is a normal game to me). Oh well, hope that helps you anyway.
The cast amazes me a lot, and that scene when she is stuck in the house is so hilarious XD I love it! I should finish Through the Looking Glass and start Alice Adventure's Under Ground :P Thanks for sharing this lovely 1999 film!
Hahah...You mean in the container? In the book, Alice gives those as a treat to her cat and it's the only thing she happens to have on hand with her when she goes to Wonderland in the first story. I think they are just some kind of sweet dessert.
I always wondered that, too. In the book, she gives "comfits" (or however you spell it) as prizes. I always thought they were supposed to be little mints or something.
There will be a part four everyone! I've been rather busy with Life outside of Youtube and haven't had time to post part four but will this weekend! As well as part five if I can. I stopped it at the mirror to get people wondering what will happen next in part 4. If everyone will be patient a little longer, please!
I always used to chuckle at that part. My theory is that it was an error in production which occurred when they edited the film. Or that it was a fake mirror.
hmm, i wondered that too lol. here's my theory. a mirror reflection usually represents the soul of a person in another dimension. i guess a freezing mirror could represent a soul in limbo, which i suppose alice's is, until she makes a decision to change her state by drinking the liquid. i could be wrong seeing as i just made that up right now, but hey! i had time lol.
in 2:42, is it me or is her reflection not moving? O.o
