Thanks for posting this video. I was sexually abused by two different people. one that i knew and one that I didn't know. It didn't really affect me until I got older. I am still dealing with the pain. Sometimes i ask myself why did this have to happen to me.It has affected me so much in my life. I have found god, but I still struggle everday. I feel very alone at times and depressed. I just hope that God will help me to heal one day.
The key to the whole thing is to be able to live your life for him, My life became better when I came to except that this life is not about me & that included my abuse my life is lived for him and in doing that all my past is no longer relevant because it is about what he wants my life to be about . It takes all the pressure off me i live my life for him prepare yourself to be at at crossroads for some one else stop making life about you and you will be healed

i feel the same about your mind playin tricks on you, i was abused by my uncle, it's left me sexually confused, embarrased and suicidal, the worse thing is the anger at my parents for not protecting me, no matter how hard i try to let it go i can't, i feel like ill always be angry woth them, it's ruined my relationships with people, im alone all the time just waitinf for death, it's a horrible life for the victims,

Just a few things that sort of made sense were, why I kept running away when I got cornered in life (I've picked up and left town, state, country more than a few times), why I was so mad and angry at everyone, while I was really angry at my 'family' (Mine was a case of incest).
Guess the best way to put it is...imagine you were just told your leg wasn't real. It was an amazing breakthrough in medicine...your whole perception on your life would change. Every memory you have, is different.

Can any other males who experienced partial or total amnesia for sexual abuse message me? I have total amnesia for a confirmed incident of sexual abuse before the age of 5, and I believe there's more, but nothing has come back to me yet. Have any of you out there experienced this? Have any of you out there experienced total amnesia, but then remembered it later?
@sorenkierkegaard2008 Happened to me at a young age, blocked it out until 3 years ago when a repressed memory came out at age 36. I can't remember most of my childhood, man, it bites....hard. There are groups of us that help each other.

The only way I can describe it was it was like everything kinda 'drained' out of me in a 'whooosh' of understanding. It was more like 'Oh sh!t, well....that makes a lot of sense. though im female i will say that you are the bravest man i have seen the fact that you are willing to help these boys with this nightmare is amazing. well anyway i am a sister of 7 and all 8 of us were abuse and my brothers are ashame even they should not be because it far from being their fault thanks for the statistic hopefully i can show my brothers that they are not in the wrong and the should not be ashamed so yea thanks a whole lot.

You are right when you say that you didn't state that sexual identity is linked to abuse. I have my own experience with this issue and what I believe would not be popular so I won't share here, except to say that a little willingness and a huge miracle brought me closer to the truth.

I was molested as a young child 5-14. It was awful. I struggle today. THey say some get it and some dont, being free that is. I want to be free. Don't stop what you're doing. God loves you!
