1) I don't knwo exactly, but you go into the settings (wrench on the home screen), then settings, then "GPS Simulator" or something like that, and turn it off. and it will say, "Do you want to simulate driving this route?
my nuvi doesn't play that song while im driving.... what gives??? lol jk, i have a nuvi 200 and its pretty coo. its not as all high tech as the more expensive ones are but its completely fine with me. gj garmin
Definitely. If you are making bluetooth calls and constantly needing features, you need to pay a little more attention to the road.
This unit has an long demo in this video (sorry its not faster). But yeah, basic unit, teaching you how to search and what the maps look like. FYI, its $70 to upgrade maps each year if you choose to.
I just bought a garmin nuvi 200w today, and I love the dang thing. I wanna go out on drives just to play with it. I went out and found a few random POI's... pretty fun!! Garmin is the way to go!!!
i bought this the other day... £100 from halfords, well impressed, auto route recalculation is spot on every time.
if you go up a no through road it says "drive X amount of metres n do a U turn" n if u drive that amount that is the Best place to do a Uturn in the whole road.
Absolutely, and it recalculates within 3-5 seconds every time. Like if you know a better way to go, then you go that way, and it'll recalculate the rest for you.
I've got to be missing something. I bought the Nuvi 200W a few days ago, and can rarely get a satellite connection. Rarely I'll get even 3 bars, usually it's no bars or one bar. What am I missing?
Wow, my bf and I were thinking of buying this, but now i now for sure it's the unit for us...we live in Stockton , ca and hey there Delilah is our song. Plus it's in our price range lol.
The signal is better when you start it up from where you left off. If you start it up it the same location, start up time to find GPS is about 15-30 seconds. If you shut down in 13th street, and start again on 7th, it takes about 5-10 minutes. Yes, it has an SD slot that takes up to 1Gb cards. Yes it is very good with signal. No problems as of yet, and I have spent over 2000 miles with it. Not lost once (major cities only)
I just bought it its great 2 questions:
1. how do I put it to drive itselve to location or demo the ride for me?
2. whats the name of the song
thanks :o)

I really don't know. I always get enough bars when I mount it on the windshield. Are you in a remote location with lots of clouds/trees?
jacob300 4 years ago
yea, someone reason this garmin takes forever to acquire a signal from a cold start. my megallan 2100 does it in less than a min from cold start.
