I've seen these guys live this year and it was mind blowing. Wackerman is great, but what Husband does is pure magic. Never before in my life I felt so much adrenaline during drum solos.
That's because the difference between a good drummer and an unremarkable one is their storytelling ability. Husband is taking us on an emotional journey, not a intellectual masturbatory session. (same for A.H by the way)
I think mistakes are not so rare. Every single great musician that I know make mistakes often, especially live. The question is, you don´t see the mistakes because they don´t make videos or record CDs from the bad takes.
wow allan is really old... even facial expressions look like from an old man..i still love him though, one of the best musicians of all times...
