  • Hahn: "We can say that God made the world in seven days as an act of cosmic oath-swearing... [blah blah blah]"

Versus Holy Scripture: "for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth" Ex. 31:17.

Talk about "private interpretation" !! Just brilliant, this guy Hahn can't even tell the difference between a 7 and a 6 but he's going to "teach" scripture ("Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm." 1 Timothy 1:7).

  • @MQ1611 Thank you for the joy you have brought to us.

  • @BeingBob

Here's some joy for you, if you'll receive it: Trust Christ and you can know for certain that you are saved (2 Tim 1:12, Rom 8:39). As a Christian you can have your fellowship restored at any time by confessing your sins directly to Christ (1 John 1:9). Then you can skip "purgatory" since Christ alone purged our sins (Heb 1:3, 9:22). You'll read the Bible yourself, believe it, and God will let you understand it (1 Jn 2:27, 1 Cor 2:13-15). You want joy? Bail out of the Catholic cult.

  • @MQ1611 I have read the Bible for myself. It's how I was convinced of Catholicism. Anyway. God rested on the 7th day from from all his work He had made. The 7th day is part of the story.

  • @MQ1611 so are you going to go to the easter vigil at your local catholic church? It's this coming Saturday night. I think you'll like it even if you disagree with certain things.

  • @BeingBob

You're sure to pick up a couple more devils every time you go ... they jump into you from off the walls, and sprinkle on you in the cursed water, and lunge at you from off every idol statue, and stare at you from the closed eyes of the dead jesus on the crucifix, and enter your ears through the music, and get into your belly with the little wafer that mister priestcraft drops on you (Lev. 17:7; 1 Cor. 10:21).

No thank you. (Rev. 18:4). Don't do what you "like" ... Do right.

  • @MQ1611 Hi Mack. I didn't take you for a superstitious person, but maybe you can explain what's wrong with holy water. I can read the daily readings from Mass to you here, starting with the readings from Easter Vigil, and you can stop by and explain what's wrong with them or how we're not reading the Bible in Church. You're more than welcome to offer a critique.

  • Matthew Leonard from the Saint Paul Center for Biblical Theology recently came to our church and gave the Bible study on the virgin Mary. It was excellent!
