The Tundra is a joke. Not to mention shoddy build quality, and buggy software. And the battery life is abysmal. 2 hours of talk time? That was good in 1997 but in 2011? It's overrated, and at&t puts their crappy spam numbers in the phone book you CAN'T delete. This phone WANTS to be a rugged, performing phone like a Nextel i580 but falls way short. I exchanged mine for a Samsung Rugby II, Way better in all areas and battery lasts days not hours. The Tundra is a POS.

But for most people like me, who's phones get dropped a lot and fall in the water and go snowboarding, etc., the Tundra get's an A. Dead Blow Hammerproof isn't anything to expect from a phone.

What one needs to understand is I didn't go swimming with this phone. It never was in water. My whole point is they say it was and upon inspecting it at the local dealer we found no evidence of water entry. The phone was brand new so water resistant or waterproof means nothing in this case. The phone was in 3 times for repair and the third time is when they came up with this lame excuse, they could not fix it so they sent it back2 times unfixed and it was new.

The sales girl didn't come right out and say it was a piece a shit , but she kind of physically steered me by the arm over twords the Samsung Rugby 2. She said you'll be much happier with this phone I think. Go's ta show ya :)
The Motorola Nextel line are pretty good phones , I carried the i580 and it was a durable dependable phone. On the other hand , their GSM phones suck dog dick. The razar & Krazr pieces of shit , the Rokr bigger piece of shit , The ACTV a whole bucket of shit , and now the Tundra a mountian of shit. Motorola needs to just stick to making Nextels and walkie talkies.
I bought this phone when it first come out without a contract. I wouldn't even waste $200 on this phone. My new Nokia is twice the phone and all functions work
