Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe NC has speed monitoring radios that send how fast you are going to the closest patrol car. Our radar detectors detect radars with no cops around. We got pulled over doing 80 MPH, when I car that was ahead of us was clearly doing over 100 MPH. The officer told us we were doing 110 MPH and a bystander confirmed with the officer that we were indeed speeding. Moments later, the officer let us go with a warning and was in hot pursuit of that other car.
I watched the GT-R's lines and then I saw the 350 going over the double yellows plenty, its all in good fun chasing an amazing car like that, just watching GT-R's drive is enough to get my mind going blank, driving one on a track at one point gave me an erection.
As a SCCA instructor with hours of driving and instruction time I can tell you that your driving style is ham fisted, sloppy and slow. Your hands should always be in the right spot (10&2 or 9&3), never on the top of the wheel. After many years I've learned that people that drive like this are some of the ones that scare me the most... they think they're good, then you end up in a tire wall. Go to a track and get some instruction, if you're ever at PIR in Oregon I'll teach you some things.
Those 2 cars are not a fair match anyway. GTR handles better, has AWD, and Z's have no torque/ power in comparison. But I say again, my problem is someone will die if you cross the yellow at the Dragon!!! It happens every year:(

@JGoodwin1016 the 370z is actually faster smart one. yeah it depends on the driver your right but if you ever did match up with a 370. guarantee you tht will smoke your 350 any day. but for the budget id get the 350z, fckinn looove tht car<3
@johngotti3063 Yeah the 370 is lighter and has more HP. I went and looked at them when they first came out but wont buy another Nissan because I had such a bad experience with my 350z. My next car is going to be a ZO6.
@ROBBY639 I bought it brand new in January 2004. Would you like me to list everything i can think of? At 14 thousand miles I had to spend $1200 to replace the pads and rotors (factory pads and rotors only last about 15-20 thousand miles if that). My fords have last 50 thousand miles so far. The stereo blew out and the dealer ship said it still worked and refused to replace the blown out speakers. The heated seats have never worked properly and they refused to fix them because the computer.
@ROBBY639 didn't say anything was wrong. The air bag light has come on 4 times now the first 3 the dealer ship actually fixed the 4th I'm going to have to pay for. I had to replace all the power switches at 65 thousand miles (seats windows all of them). The cigarette lighter never worked and nissan couldn't find the short the dealer told me to stop bringing it in and blamed it on my cell phone charger even though it doesn't blow the fuse in my other cars (I bought 3 different ones)
@ROBBY639 The front camber had a recall and they refused to do the recall work because I have after market 19's on it. I had a major oil leak that cost $950 or so to repair at 60 thousand miles. I had to replace some part forgot what (wasn't the MAFS) car wouldn't idle and was running really rich that cost $1500 (dealer wanted 2400 to do that repair) that was at 75 thousand miles. I'm at 91 thousand miles now the car again is not running no idea what's wrong now but it's running rich
@ROBBY639 I've had to replace the driver head light twice now due to corrosion and water leaking into it. All in all over 7 years over owner ship I've had to spend around 7500-10k repairing the car. I tried to open a lemon claim but nissan refused. All I was looking for was for them to do the repairs to the car. After 60 thousand miles the car started to break down every 3-6 months. It's been a terrible car and I wont buy another Japanese produced car again.

@cliffrex It's a piece of shit. I've got a 2004 Touring I bought it brand new in January 2004. I've got 92,000 miles on it and it's breaking down every 3 months as soon as I hit 60 thousand miles the thing start falling apart. Never mind that Nissan wouldn't warranty anything. I've serviced it and done everything I will never buy another Nissan. You should look at the reliability rating of these cars and it's not that great. Nissan also came in second with the highest number of FTC Complaints.
@ROBBY639 About the current problem I'm thinking it's fairly major makes a slapping noise when it first starts up and it smokes heavily and smells extremely rich then it stops. I'm going to take it in to have it repaired in a month or so hoping it wont cost more then 1500 to repair it after that I'm selling it. he wouldnt be if you downshifted on the way into the turn..rather than downshifting on the way out.. your coming out of the corners waaaay to slow.. not to mention being that i own an 08 350z, you are capable of handling those corners quicker, trust me

listen retards his driving is just fine...hes driving in a fun fashion without endangering lives...1. hes not taking the corners fast because if he goes over into the other lane while cutting it he might hit another car. 2. there is no banking in any of those corners. what would you have him do? this isnt a closed touge track.

@cliffrex It's a piece of shit. I've got a 2004 Touring I bought it brand new in January 2004. I've got 92,000 miles on it and it's breaking down every 3 months as soon as I hit 60 thousand miles the thing start falling apart. Never mind that Nissan wouldn't warranty anything. I've serviced it and done everything I will never buy another Nissan. You should look at the reliability rating of these cars and it's not that great. Nissan also came in second with the highest number of FTC Complaints.

@ROBBY639 About the current problem I'm thinking it's fairly major makes a slapping noise when it first starts up and it smokes heavily and smells extremely rich then it stops. I'm going to take it in to have it repaired in a month or so hoping it wont cost more then 1500 to repair it after that I'm selling it. I would love to buy a 370z but I wont because I don't want to deal with the same issues again.

Lol at the ignorant people how watch these vids and think they know everything about cars and the scene. "The dragon" is the place and that's what it's known as. If you want a road number, it's a branch road off of US hwy 128, 128 is "the tail of the dragon". Now use google, you stupid fuck....

berk technology test pipes, top speed n1 exhaust, fujita f5 intakes. This is on a VQ35HR so it will sound different with the other 350z or 370z engine.

he wouldnt be if you downshifted on the way into the turn..rather than downshifting on the way out.. your coming out of the corners waaaay to slow.. not to mention being that i own an 08 350z, you are capable of handling those corners quicker, trust me

It's simply the fact that you cannot unleash supercars in everyday driving conditions.
Still, you can see from GT-R short bursts of acceleration how hard this car pulls forward.
Fantastic engine note on this Z, by the way.

I saw but the driver of the gt-r was just cautious he did overtake anyone or even take a corner at a decent speed. All I'm saying is if I had the gt-r it would be on and I could not imagine letting my little cousin keep up with me lol.
