  • I like Rappers delight...this one's kinda silly.

  • @dpspac333 ya i no huh

  • look at all those white people there lol

  • @mixerdog79 so what. who cares what race they are, anyone can listen to whatever music they want..there is no race put to genres of music.

  • @mixerdog79 When you are a performing artist, you go on what are called tours, and in so doing, you may visit a community where a lot of your fans are white. I 'm white, and I liked music like this from the very first day it came out, back in the early eighties, when I was a little kid.

  • Wow..This is quite enjoyable!

  • świetna muza :)

  • original sample=Incredible Bongo Band (1973)

  • hey you know your music and you are right it is the cut of Lp back in late 70"s

  • @teetereh Bongo Band did not sample it, they created it

  • Great song.... I wonder if Hank Marvin from The Shadows famous for the instrumental version has herd this?

  • Copenhagen :)

  • good but hard to understand

  • Humm.. This song sounded familiar.

    Its great!

  • is this the Sir Mix-a-lot one?

if not what is the difference

  • This is the original. Made in the late '70's or early '80's, if my memory serves me right.

  • Actually, Sir Mix A Lot made the instrumental here, these guys added the lyrics.

  • Ah, I was thinking of Rappers Delight for some reason which is why I said '80's. My bad. Good catch.

  • Mix A Lot did not make the instrumental to this. Mix A Lot came out in the mid to late 80's. This song, "Apache", was made years before. It was on their first album along with Rapper's Delight. That was the mid to late 70's.

  • This is the sugar hill gang cover of the original song by the shadows (well the shadows recorded the first version of an instamental by jerry lordan). sir-mix-a-lot did make an instrumental in the 90s called jump on it but did so after the sugar hill gang, i think they first recorded sometime in the 80s

  • I thought there was a dance to this song...

  • not originally... the "dance" came years later as a skit on THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR with Will & Carleton - and it just caught on has become associated with the song now for those of this generation.

  • Wasn't this the song they played outside Rod Blagoyjevich's office until he left office as IMPEACHED Gov. of Illinois?

  • OH YEAH!

  • haha great

  • SHG still kickin.. damn!
