  • what engine is that

  • @jameshoffmandude Norvell 0.061 BigMig

  • Interesting. Any problem with the foam holding up to the fuel?

  • @wilmracer No. The only problem was when I spray painted it, I got too close and the paint aerosol ate the foam. I also used polycrylic to seal it which the fuel simply made gummy and sticky and caused it to collect dirt. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't put anything on it, just paint. I wouldn't worry about sealing it with anything at all and if I did seal it with something it would have to be real acrylic, not polycrylic!

  • id like your nitro conversion

  • I've always liked the idea of mini-nitro. This makes me want to install a Cox .010 on my Parkzone Sukhoi. Lol

  • @NitroJunkie626 Exactly what I was thinking!

  • @nitroairplane Well, great minds do think alike. Lolz

  • 1: mine does too, did you watch the video?

2: actually, the muffled Norvel is quieter than the stock geared setup

3: It is quicker, more powerful, and lighter. So while you are busy buying bigger and heavier equipment, effectively turning your plane into a fast brick, mine will still be fast, nimble, and weigh almost half an ounce less than stock.

Having said that, I like electric. I own 10 electrics and 3 glow. The hobby is pretty big, with lots of neat things to do. Open your head :)
