How did you install the lights!? I tried installing lights that i stole from a string of christmas lights, and i got them to work and even had them all mounted, but as soon as i got the lights working the elevator servo started to have "seizures" and i couldn't bind my transmitter to the plane! Please let me know what you did asap!

@rufus324 thats normal. The plane is so light and the engine has so much torque compared to the wieght of the plane that they need to angle it down so that the plane does not just do loops all the time :)

I just picked up a Micro J3 yesterday. I just noticed that the motor shaft isn't centered and is leaning more towards the right.

From watching your video, yours looked like it was pointing a little to the right as well.

Is it supposed to be that way or should the motor shaft be centered perfectly in the nose of the plane?

Happy Birthday! I just ordered this plane and a micro 2.4ghz camera to try to use on it. It weighs 9 grams and I am not sure if this would be too heavy of a payload for this little guy! im not very familiar with this plane but it seems to be very stable and forgiving. My first plane was a Hobbyzone FIrebird and I was 8 or 9 at the time so there is an option. I would recommend about any highwing plane and its better with a pusher prop because if you nosedive you cant damage the mount shaft etc.

well Bernie,Corey here i am a rc vet well im 15 been flying since i was 14 so about a year.the first plane i used was the rc mini super cub.if you have lots of wind then the mini super cub wont cut it other than wind its great if you want you can check out my vids to see some mods i did to it and actual flying.

No way. The P-41 is a really, really fast plane (for a micro, anyway), and won't make for a good first plane. Excellent first planes include the Ember 2, the Vapor, and the J-3 Cub, provided that you fly the Cub (or any of them, really) over grass. The micro planes are really forgiving when you crash them into crash; not so much when you crash them into asphalt. Of the 3, the Cub is my favorite.
