So in answer to ur comment the blessing is the holy spirit, but when he is with u, u become rich. Though tithing is not for the saints. That was OT. Now we who are in the New Covenant are commanded, "So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." Tithing was not optional. If a person did not tithe, God would curse their works. However, God also gives this in conjunction with the previously mentioned verse:

The Scriptures state that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His saints. However, we must be careful not to become too stuck on things, but work on laying up treasure for ourselves in Heaven. Jesus was rich; the Romans didn't tear one of HIs articles of clothing. He also had His own treasury. How many of us have our own treasury? However, Jesus did this: He focused on Kingdom Business. So let us do as He did, and everything else will fall in place.

G-d says this because He knows that since we saints don't HAVE to give a PRECISE amount, this is an encouragement for us saints to give alot just as He does, that we may be more like our Father in heaven, Who, "...gives to all LIBERALLY and WITHOUT reproach." @derickcp31 we were not ment to be low ballers. is it ok for a preacher not to have their own plane? is it ok for any christian to not want nice clothes (expensive coach, gucci etc.) I do not understand why is wrong for christians to have nice expensive stuff without people judging etc. ex: Our pastor drives a benz after all he does for the church (he prays for all of us from 3am-8am) and then continues other work at church until 5+pm. does he not deserve a nice car to drive?

So in answer to ur comment the blessing is the holy spirit, but when he is with u, u become rich. Jesus died that all can acess eternal life(joh 3:16) & the blessing of abraham which includes prosperity (gal 3:14). Jesus rode top of the line(Matt 21:9). Clothes was so fly soldiers gambled 4 them (mat 27:35). Jesus "became poor (left heavens abundance) so that we may be rich (2 cor 8:9)."having ur bills pd n still being able to splurge on rims is the right of a Christian. Check out Matt 6(33), Ps 37(4). I am not ministered to by this song. (referring back to the scripture i just stated). It is GREAT to have possesions. However, does this BRING SOULS TO THE KINGDOM? THE GREAT COMMISSION? @TheRealStreetLight God doesn't ask us to show off richess... He warns that we should not get attached to stuff on earth, cause this is only our temporary home. God blesses us to help other people, you think God is giving him money to buy rims? Money JUST to buy RIMS? pff.. come on man... if i dont tell my none christian friends that this song is "gospel" they wont know.. everybody been sayin Jesus name is songs lately. Kanye is christian too? haha... can all agree we need to be like Jesus?

If we need to be more like Jesus then... that would mean we would live the simple life, one that is based on serving others etc. Remember when Jesus went through the city on a donkey? @itsmeman2009 btw.. i would like to see those commentaries. According to what I believe our goal is not to focus on what we can get here... but what we can do here for others, and for God... Bible says money is the root to evil... The bible also says, not everyone that claims to say they are of God will see the gates of heaven, it also says that some people will come and say that they have done things in his name and he will say that he doesn't know them... i'll post the texts here

How is this christian rap? Bragging(pride) about materialistic posessions(love of money) and insert the name Jesus between the 24's. This is not christian music. Based off of just canton jones album cover you can tell who hes tring to promote which is himself. Lecrae, trip lee, flame, tedashii are artists that i consider are christian rappers. No boasting in their lyrics.

If he says once im blessed its not praise music. its more like i want to be seen and heard by secular rappers but got to say Jesus to keep the money coming in from kids that think its christian. you know what the Bible says, cant serve two masters, cant love the world and God equally. Now we who are in the New Covenant are commanded, "So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." Tithing was not optional. If a person did not tithe, God would curse their works. However, God also gives this in conjunction with the previously mentioned verse:

The Scriptures state that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His saints. However, we must be careful not to become too stuck on things, but work on laying up treasure for ourselves in Heaven. Jesus was rich; the Romans didn't tear one of HIs articles of clothing. He also had His own treasury. How many of us have our own treasury? However, Jesus did this: He focused on Kingdom Business. So let us do as He did, and everything else will fall in place.

G-d says this because He knows that since we saints don't HAVE to give a PRECISE amount, this is an encouragement for us saints to give alot just as He does, that we may be more like our Father in heaven, Who, "...gives to all LIBERALLY and WITHOUT reproach." So that is why He tells us to give without begrudging our giving and encourages us to give much.

@DEMONKILLA27 Love da explination bro. I think people need to know that there are very talented (blessed) artists that are christians and can make just as good music. But in my opinion I think christian rap/hip-hop/other genres not only because its Godly inspired but its almost like a guide through life wit da testimonies of others and it keeps them thinking in Gods peaceful ways throughout da day. Worldly music does the complete opposite.

And secondly, it's fine to have it! The Word says that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the unjust. However, secular hip hop draws listeners draw a different message from this.
