- "Dragon's Lament" killed the pleasure of wild encounter

I'm currently playing Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII and I'm loving it. But all the others look like ancient gameboy role playing games... Aren't there games like FF but turn-based for psp? The only that might have some potential to me is Brave Story... PM me if u know a game like I want. Even if it's from PSX.

@killer47blade Well since you say you love Crisis Core I would suggest you check out Star Ocean: Second Evolution (it's a great game from the PS1 rereleased for PSP). As for turn based RPGs I would check out Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness, Disgaea 2, Jeanne D'arc, Wild Arms Cross Fire, Tactics Orge, and Lunar: Silver star Harmony, and if you haven't played it FF4. Finally, check out Valkrie Profile: Lenneth, it is very good game. There is a reason the PS1 versoin sells for $150

Except for maybe Tactics Ogre.

Not to mention that anyone who can even remotely call themselves an RPG fan or "expert" would automatically include Final Fantasy Tactics in any sort of RPG List, even outside of the PSP.

It's a classic - an instant classic at that.

I'm a HUGE ATLUS fan, so it pains me to say it, but it's DEFINITELY better than Crimson Gem Saga on that list.

Also, what you've heard is a port for the PlayStation 3, not Vita.

And PSP is much, MUCH far away from dead. The best RPGs are still on it and some of them haven't even been released yet.

Heck, Final Fantasy Type-0 is still amongst the most-wanted RPGs for 2012 and it hasn't even come out in Japan yet.
