  • Comparing the systematic racist abuse in South Africa to a shit football manager. Ridiculous!

  • @grangegoarman me thinks u were alter boy with little dress.cop on and wipe the green from ur lugs

  • powerful!!

  • ira rule forever.we were and still are a undefeated army.for 30 years we kicked ass because there is something inside so strong

  • @MrTaximan1234 This isn't, and never will be an IRA song. Its not about fighting descrimination with violence, its about fighting with truth and dignity. Semtex is not what he's refering to, as the 'something inside so strong'.

  • @gagababy01 its a powerful song that fully convays our position in ireland.we will never give up on our belief that we will have our country back.we re going to do it anyway.its almost as if bobby sands wrote it.

  • @MrTaximan1234 Unfortunately the beautiful ideal that you are talking about has manifested into inexcusable violence, so, again, respectfully, that isn't what this song is about. It is not about blowing things up to get what you want it is about persisting in having your voice heard despite adversity and recrimination. To my mind this song belongs to the families of the victims of the IRA not the members of the organisation.

  • @gagababy01 the higher they built barriers.you cant deny me .i know that i can make it though u doing me wrong .look at them in eyes and say we going to do it anyway.beautiful song .,look at neil lennon tribue .ira no surrender

  • @MrTaximan1234 Hahaha, Shitty Sands wrote jack!

  • @MrTaximan1234 You're embarrassing yourself, man. I'm an Irish catholic but uneducated arseholes like you make us look bad. You don't know what you're talking about.

  • @grangegoarman another west brit from south dublin no doubt.who cares if u are catholic or not .it did not matter what religion that man from donegal was when he was kicked to death in scotland.people like u make me sick with ur ranting about being irish catholic.religion is being used as a cover to blind arseholes like against real truth.

  • @MrTaximan1234 Undefeated?? Is that why they had to destroy their weapons?? IS that why Ireland is not united?? That is a strange way of being undefeated.

  • @MrMickroach how u define defeated

  • @MrTaximan1234 Being beaten, having your weapons destroyed, your money siezed and the prime objective unrealised, is being beat! Ireland is not united, therefore BEAT!

  • I love you Labi!!!!!!

  • what a song if ur feeling down this song should pick you up

  • played this song to the under 17 rugby league team i coached before a final, after listening to this they won the game, i'd like to think to think it inspired them.

  • Nice vid............a black man behind bars love the realism lol

  • @codyterrier what a knob you are

  • Reminds of my good friend, Gavin Jaunky, who is struggling against racism; appartield; discrimination and prejudice. This is for you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :-)

  • lovely accent on his pronunciation...i love this song

  • I love this song

  • my nan died to this music :(

  • Dont like this song now its been associated with Ireland.

  • @AliCampbell1234 it's nothing to do with Ireland you fucking idiot. Just because a Celtic supporter likes a song doesn't mean you can't like it, I'm a Celtic supporter, and I like Simply The Best.

  • @Eddiebhoy1888 im not an old firm supporter at all. Just dont like how a thug like neil lennon gets treated like a saint and totally ruins this song.

  • TIOCFAIDH AR LA NAIL LENNON <3

  • @samiheatherwick FUCK NEIL LENNON YOU LITTLE CUNT

  • There's only 1 Neil Lennon!

  • @oisin1971 Thank fuck....he's a shit manager. Sooner he's gone, the sooner Celtic will start winning trophies again. It's a disgrace to mention that foetus in the same breath as this song. If he wasn't such a bigoted bastard he wouldn't get the abuse. Martin O'Neill (a catholic from Derry) never got abuse like that because he is a decent man. Lennon is a twat and I have no sympathy. Worst Celtic player ever and on his way to being the worst manager ever. And by the way, I'm an Irish celtic fan.

  • @grangegoarman "Irish celtic fan" yet your profile says you support Liverpool, please never come back to Celtic Park.

Celtic first, Celtic last, Celtic overall

  • @Eddiebhoy1888 Liverpool first for me any day. The manager is shite and you can't justify his employment. He only appeals to sectarian arseholes. Martin O'Neill was a gentleman and Lennon is scum. The sooner he goes the better. Terrible player and an even worse manager. Lennon is a joke. No one can deny that.

  • @grangegoarman if your Liverpool first then stop saying your a Celtic fan, and how does he only appeal to the sectarian people? if he did that means 99.99% of Celtic fans are sectarian which even most Gers fans would tell you is BS. Yes... a "joke", that's why he REBUILT the club into a force in Scottish football after the shambles Mowbray left us in.

  • @Eddiebhoy1888 A force? They're only in slightly better shape than Mowbray left them in. Any intelligent fans I know say he's a joke and only the idiots who treat him like some sort of hunger striker worship him. When McCoist beats him to it in May then unfortunately I'll be right. Rebuilt the club? That's hilarious, man.

  • @grangegoarman who s top of league do da

  • @MrTaximan1234 I'm glad celtic are top. It's more to do with rangers collapsing than lennon tho. Lennon is a bigoted arsehole and he's not good enough for our club. he's bringing us down to their level. the man's not a victim, he's an arsehole. How come O'Neill never got this treatment? Cause he had more class in a finger nail than Lennon's dirty ginger body.

  • Pity it's become associated with IRA hunger strikers.

  • @Duncoman Nothing to do with IRA hunger strikers

  • i used to be on drugs, hard ones..my mum after 18 yrs of never knowing her came and colected me from one of my many court apearances, she played this song to me on the moterway leaving my old life behind..still gets me to this day, and that was 13 yrs ago. • i love it

  • this song is so inspirational

  • Beautiful song! It's a wonderful anthem of any civil rights movement.

  • @Seattlecarnut its also a gy rights anthem as labbi is gay and sings it at many gay pride events

  • @garrychelsea The first time I heard the song was by the Seattle Men's Chorus, a gay men's chorus. Ever heard of them?

  • @Seattlecarnut yes i have heard of them, i have friends in londons gay mens chorus, i used to work in a hotel and labbi stayed many times , a really nice man

  • @garrychelsea Awesome! Beautiful song. The first time I heard the song, I cried. I felt as though I was the person he was referring to.

  • @Seattlecarnut another song that makes me feel that way is what makes a man a man by charles aznevour

  • @garrychelsea I suppose it is a 'gay rights anthem'.

Judging by the chorus, it sounds like one :^/

  • Great song, but cheapest video ever made.

  • @BricktownBubba I think the video is SUPPOSED to be kind of bland, showing the monotony of prisons, especially for people who were unjustly thrown into prisons in Z.A.

  • Such a shame this song wasn't used to sell a non-descript French hatchback.

    Oh, wait...

  • one of mine and my mum's favourite songs......

  • A near perfect song. The original meaning about Apartheid was strong, but this song could be used to face any barriers from something serious as Apartheid, to somebody minor things in everyday life. Great!

  • I love what RetroRevolution96 said - the International Song of Freedom.. yes, it should be. it's an amazing peice of song writing and defiance to all those who oppress others.

As a gay man, it spoke to me when I was young and struggling with who I was. I sang this recently at a benefit night (video on YouTube), which has long been an ambition of mine.

  • i actually love this song,

  • i know that i can make it

  • a inspiring song that uplifts the soul and encourages strenght passion and belief in the face of adversity.. This song for me on a personal level is a song that makes me believe in my own power within esp the line "Wer gonna look them in the eyes and say wer gonna do it anyway" this line in its self is verry powerful and very true and is a line that each of us no matter where we are or who we are can relate to, because im sure we have all said that line to ourself at one point in our life

  • wow well said mate
