But asking the universe/populace/peers, what have you, is fruitless. Nobody is going to give or allow you to have anything. You have to bump them out of the way and take it, but cause they would certainly do that to you.

A resolution? Well, if anything, to spend money wisely, what little of it I have. And to continue to reacquire the bots I had to sell off several years ago to pay bills.
I am going to make another record this year also, maybe a few, lo fi experimental noise stuff. Its true, sometimes you need an actual person to call you in and give you that drive. I am that sort of space where most of my equipment is a bit naff but I can't afford new stuff and have been using that as an excuse to not make stuff. I just need to sort it out and learn to enjoy that my old naff equipment is actually "stylish retro" kit
I'm not a huge fan of new years resolutions, as you say physiologically its its not about making change but more about people disclosing what they consider some weaknesses, most people see themselves as admitting a problem being close to fixing it, the fixing part is irrelevant most of the time, people feel better just acknowledging it, if they wanted to fix it, they would have already.
I'm a mix of awesome and shit human being, but am pretty good with it, no need to make changes
