I remember exploiting this glitch to the limit. I cought severel level 100+ pokemon, lvl'ed them to lvl 255 with rare candys (after that they go to lvl 1!) and then battle with a friend. Kick ass I tell ya! Missing No messes up the Hall of Fame at first encounter, it does nothing else. I tried the glitch on many different game cartridges, and I never had any problems what so ever. Glitch city is always a nice place to visit aswell :)))
Long time ago, when i had red, blue, yellow, and sliver, i deicided to see what it really was. I caught missingno, and sent him to sliver and gold. It was a teddyurusa and a phanphy. I don't think it was a glitch, i think it was just beta data left over for sliver and gold that wasn't earased. True story.

If you do the rare candy glitch an even amount of times and use the same items as before your hall of fame won't get wrecked. This worked for me on Red version, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with the red and blue version .

One and the easiest is while on the boat to where you get cut, get cut and lose in a battle so you go to the pokecenter and the boat never leaves. Then go as normal and after beating the elite four, go back to the boat and head to the deck and you will find mew.

The baby in Kangaskhan's pouch is a Cubone without the skull, and when the babys mother dies, it wers the skull for protection, thus making a Cubone. But they canceled that at, the last second, and they didnt have enough time to remove the data, so they hid it in the game, and it was found as MissingNo.
if you catch it the game data and game gets corrupted and the game chip in the game gets skipped over and never able to return. so when you turn the game back on, it goes "BZZZZZZ" and it's frozen, and the game is forever broken.
I was reading that there were originally 190 Pokemon for Red, Yellow and Blue. They were like half written into the game, the 39 that weren't fully added appear as Missingo. These were added in Gold and Silver officially. Bit of trivia.

Technically, Missingno. was supposed to be the beta Pokémon that evolved into Kangaskan (or however you spell it), but was decided to be scrapped at the last minute, but not from the game, which is why you can find it along the edge of Cinnabar Island and Seafoam Island, along with some Pokémon over level 100 (i.e. level 146 Snorlax)
i have the feeling that missingno. is really a missing number error because of course no. means number and Pokemon names can have a space its name might really be missing no..

missingno doesn't fuck up your game i know cuz i traded 1 back then on yellow with a friend (he sended me a missingno) and nothing happened the only side effect was that when he was lv120 orso he got lv1 again when i tryed to beat the fuck out off the elite 4
I remember when I first heard of the sixth slot item dupe glitch... I got freaked out when MissingNO showed up then I had infinite bikes because I swapped the wrong items
Missingno. is from another dimension, so it can't be seen by the human eye. If you try to video record it, all nearby electronics will spark and get fried. If you try to say it's real name, your skull will explode. If you try to catch it, the fabric of space-time will collapse in on itself. (and you'll have to cut the game off and cut it back on)
What would happen if you caught MissingNo on an emulator, would it mess up your computer or just do nothing? Or can you even access MissingNo on an emulator?

Actually the missingno can be found in the Yellow game too. I did it when I did the "Mew Glitch" in Pokemon Yellow. But however unlike in the original three games. It froze my game before I could reap the benefits of seeing one in the wild.... As a result it is not good to see em in Yellow version game. Too bad too. I thought I found a way around the whole it no longer appears next to Seafoam and Cinnabar islands.. :(
A little lesson behind missingno, originally they had planned to make a pre-evolution for kangaskhan, but they didnt, so there was a "missing number" for said pokemon cuz they never followed through on it, so it became a failsafe for potential hackers raising their pokemons level instead of a ridiculously strong pokemon u got missingo

So yes, you can access odd glitches such as missingno.

Actually the missingno can be found in the Yellow game too. I did it when I did the "Mew Glitch" in Pokemon Yellow. But however unlike in the original three games. It froze my game before I could reap the benefits of seeing one in the wild.... As a result it is not good to see em in Yellow version game. Too bad too. I thought I found a way around the whole it no longer appears next to Seafoam and Cinnabar islands.. :(

A little lesson behind missingno, originally they had planned to make a pre-evolution for kangaskhan, but they didnt, so there was a "missing number" for said pokemon cuz they never followed through on it, so it became a failsafe for potential hackers raising their pokemons level instead of a ridiculously strong pokemon u got missingo
