All I got from this was that Microsoft is copying old Linux features while still giving the user the option to download all the great viruses, spyware, defragging, slow downs, and regsitry errors that they have all grown to love over the years. Way to go!

Try to change your screen resolution to the lowest 800x600. The window that you can't get should now try to re-fit itself in 800x600 resolution. If this work, then just re-apply your default resolution size. Hope this helps!

A clean installation actually doesn't delete all your data, it offers an option to save your files in a folder called: Windows.old

It saves all your files, but yeah, you do lose your programs.
