Both those groups sound like every other group coming out of the East Coast, the whole North East area has no originality, they all sound the same! At least in the South, they have their own sound.

And UGK is definitely not a major label concoction, they've been putting out albums since '92.

It is absolutely disgusting to:

1. read "Akon feat. UGK", as if he was some musical wizard who, generously, permitted UGK to enter the studio. THEY are the veterans HE should pay tribute to...

2. listen to this pseudo-smooth, watered-down, club/lovesong when you compare it to some of UGK's early records like "Ridin' Dirty" or "Take Em Off", which were just so funky and sophisticated musically .

I just hope their album will feature more thant these kinds of songs, because I simply love UGK!!!
