Yeah, I could have done without his soapbox on CCENT validation. For newbies like me, a half-step is way better than none. Biting it off in smaller pieces works and passing the segments incents me more strongly than the all-or none approach.
I was with you on this video up until you started selling crap after almost bashing Cisco for using certs as a revenue stream. It is ok for you to make money but not for them because they are a large company.
you make the icnd1 and icnd2 approach sound bad. i don't know but I don't think people are really expecting to get great jobs off passing the icnd1. I think that most people, like me, are taking advantage of being able to cut down the topics you have to focus on for a single test.
I just passed my ICND1 exam and certainly not going to look for a job yet, instead ill go revise for the ICND2 exam then go look for a job If i get the CCNA.
