I don't want to start a debate or anything but, I think Cell would win. He has the power of 18, 17, himself, Frieza, and all the Z Fighters. Super 17 just has the power of two 17's, but he can absorb energy.

Well, I suppose you may be correct. If my memory is right, Super 17 was only a match for SSJ4 Goku because Goku was giving so much power, right? I think that's what happened...

Don't forget he was a kid so SSJ4 wasn't as powerful and neither were his attacks.

Cell would die in an instant. If ss2 could kill perfect cell, then to an ss4 cell would be like child's play

you're missing two very important points. for one, it seemed like super 17 wasn't really all that strong untill he absorbed SS4 goku's energy. I think he probably started out weaker than cell. Two, cell gets MASSIVELY stronger if you fail to completely kill him. So they're both capable of getting stronger. Though if cell wants he can just instant transmission away to go blow himself up a few times.
