  • This was a marvellous series on BBC1 two years ago. The 3 hours follow up was on BBC1 this week and last. Try and get the dvd!

  • Cranford is unutterably brilliant. The Beeb reign supreme as ever. This DVD set was sent to me along with Lark Rise to Candleford by my family in the UK. It had me laughing as well as crying!

  • Just had a cranford day, watching it on DVD. I would rate it as good as Pride and Prejudice. Supurb series. Eileen Atkins, and Judy dench were Excellent.

  • This is the best BBC Drama (including Dr Who and Robin Hood) this year. The cast are perfect, the style is perfect, it's funny, the plot is fantastic.

    A perfect adaptation of Cranford!
