As a woman this was a good surprise to these women, just like Jesus washed the feet of His disciples. Women are always the ones made to wash feet of their husbands and children. As an African, our White sisters and brothers could only present God's goodness in the best possible way they know how. Kudos. As a Christian, the gesture was very touching, a Mzungu/ White to wash these women's feet, the Washers and the Washed were all blessed, broke some barriers. History forms our present. Maranatha.
great video but i have to admit i laughed when i saw the lady with a lipstick!! iam sure most of you did.i guess it was made for fun.LOL. the truth is very few really cares about the people that are suffering but thanks to you who took that step and showed love to the widows.thats the way we should live.

Africa inspires me no matter how horrible their lives are they are always so happy and thankful for the little they have. Sometimes when I want to complain about life I always think about what my friends and family are going back home.
No matter what anybody says what you all did was great and should be praised. We need to have more people like you all who are willing to give up there time and donate it to people who really need it. God Bless you all and I wish the best for your organization because I know God was in heaven smiling down on you for your good deeds.

I was wondering, based on the history of Africa and how Europeans happen to steal the land and resources, if your organization was teaching with "images" that God and Jesus were "white." When a people are in need, it's rather easy to indoctrinate these. They lose their indigenous belief system only to lose something much greater in the long run.

Did you inquire before giving the spa what would make them really happy, and how they would like to spend a day if they had a choice? We have to remember that they have their own culture and ideas of happiness. My best wishes to you, and thanks again.

I personally participated in this, and I can honestly say that your statements are completely unfounded.
Why would we screw up their culture? We didn't. We gave them dignity. Go get some.
Leave the culture to its own demise? Is that why Hope4Kids International has gone back to Uganda hundreds of times?
Would you say that sharing the love of Christ - the real purpose of this - messed up their culture as well?
