Whales are very unique creatures and do not deserve to be run to extinction by japan and by the many stresses in their environment. I hope these protesters are able to convince this economic powerhouse that killing rare endangered animals is bad PR and will result in diplomatic problems with other countries. Is the whale meat trade really worth it? No. We have plenty land and sea for farming we do not need to destroy the natural world, we can live beside it in a sustainable way (I hope we can)

@goodcommentguy It's the same the world over, the ruling elite are not interested in justice only protecting their own ass.

In my experience no police force world wide is anything more than a tax collector and enforcer for the ruling elite, who on occasion when they really have to, will do some work for the public to quell possible unrest but much prefer just writing out crime numbers than dealing with any real issues you or I might care about.

The whale meat is supposed to be sold to pay for the research by ICR. This is demanded by the International Whaling Commission.

Stealing the whale meat is stealing from the research. I don't know who was stealing it but those two guys were in the right to expose the crime. Their being against whaling is not an issue on this topic.

@cloudberry121 I think that MOST of our civilised world will be outraged that the meat is still marketed. and these two gentlemen have done an amazing job highlighting this evil trade at great risk to themselves. The fact that the meat is used to pay for the very practice most of us are against is an Outrage and must be STOPPED.

It took a long time to stop these rich carnivores from killing and eating our precious wildlife on the America's or African plains so why is the sea different.

This is fking stupid, I can't even explain how stupid this is, its clear that the Japanese authorities are on the whaling side for money. The whole world need to know this and think of the right thing to do, it's bad enough that our atmosphere and air is being abuse now animals that hasn't done anything bad too. Before anyone reply to this asking what about the animals in factory farms, I don't agree with how they're being treated either.
