love this performance, its wonderful, i wish i could have been there in person, where every this is. the costume is beatiful, the live music and dance that went with it is very wonderful ,she is lovely and performed as a dancers, dancer ony could. what a great talent. this is the type of dance and performance that i love, i have been a bellly dancer since 1975, beleive this is what its all about, and its very relateably to all audiences. great and beautiful performance. dance on .
gosh))) it's unbelievable how clothes change everything! her dance was very good, but the costume she wore made her moves so smooth and unforgetable!!!
Sandralis has tremendous stage presence and is currently teaching this choreography to Bellyqueen students.
It's a wonderful fusion of Egyptian and Afro-Brasilian beats. The dance style is a combination of Afro-Haitian and Egyptian cabaret. The fluidity of movement and arm positions are a part of Bellyqueen's signature style.
Hi, I´m from Brazil and sorry, but there´s not any brazilian steps here. I´ve seen many kinds of folk dances from my country and they don´t look like this one. I think this dance is the egyptian belly dance only. She´s a good dancer by the way. Hugs.
To clarify, the music itself has a section with Brasilian samba elements though the choreography was kept in the Egyptian style.
Several months after this performance the choreography was reworked for her students to include the basic samba as a traveling step which I subsequently used for a recital at the same venue.
