  • true musicianship. these guys deserve so much more credit than they get.

  • wow!! love your voice!!

  • amazing voice!

  • Is it only me who thinks a lot about Zelda when hearing this song?

Anyway, nice band :) I'm listening to all their songs atm and I'm starting to enjoy it!

  • @Samm3x maybe because they helped make some of the LoZ music...i think (._.")...that's what i've been hearing :D

  • This song consistently makes me shiver every time i hear it. Musically brilliant.

  • These guys are so amazing.

Accessible enough to be played on any "pop" radio station, yet intricate enough for any experienced musician keep coming back to dissect just how they are able to write and play such amazing songs.

  • @C4L88 EXACTLY what I've been trying to transcribe into words. Right on.

  • He makes me want to cry. His voice is so beautiful...

  • Jewish pride!! Love it Danny!! :-D

  • love this melody

  • what kind of pedal is Michael using?! those sound like awesome effects

  • @ShadowCrowX I'm pretty sure he's using his midi pick-up here to trigger sounds.

  • I listen a lot of metal music.... but i love your work. It will be great play in one band like this. Congratulations

  • The 8 bit version of this one their other album is amazing.

  • Before the presentation of the song "Symptom of the Stumbling" in Sao Paulo - Brazil, a fan of the band, Robson Moreira, asked to take the stage and the microphone, madea statement to his girlfriend using part of the song of the group. Thrilled, he could hardly ask: "Will you marry me?"

  • The weight of love is more than all the world

    Requiring a strength I can't provide

But gravity, love strangely may defy

If only I was not so terrified

    These doubts that are arising

    They become so paralyzing

Am I what she wants, am I what she needs?

Or am I just a letdown she can't see?

Those damn lyrics...get me all the time because that's exactly how I feel right now

  • I love how the lead singer T-rexxes with his right hand ♥

  • always safe to favorite the song before you even hear it with reign

  • I love the fact that I`m sure that I some day will look back, thinking how lucky I was to find these guys before the storm. The storm is on the horrizone, and I`m 100% sure that I`ll see this guys live, touring the world within a few years.

  • where are they from????

  • @eltigrejony buffalo, ny

  • @chadortom thanks

  • @eltigrejony Buffalo, NY. My hometown <3

  • this is such a simple progression, but they manage to make it sound soooo unique.

  • I really liked Kelly a lot better than this Danny Pizarro Jr guy. Don't get me wrong, he's pretty good, but in my personal opinion, Kelly had a better sense of musicality.

  • @Starmast3r Yeah, yeah, we've debated this many times already. Danny was thrown into the fire in that he had to learn Kelly's piano in a matter of days in order to do these vids. Given that I'd say Danny must be uber talented. If Kelly had to learn Danny's piano I'm sure he wouldn't be CD smoothe either. Now when Danny gets to play his own writing I bet he'll bust out. Don't get me wrong; I love Kelly & think he's amazing, but given the stiuation I stated, you gotta cut Danny some slack

  • @malikamakamuki Really now... that changes the whole game. If Kelly did write the stuff that Danny had to play, Danny is very talented. However, you can tell that Danny has a different style-- every musician does. I'll be excited to see what that style is in the next coming album.

  • Does anyone know why the pianist quit? He just joined..

  • @handidrummed Probably because he needs to make a living. Unless you´re Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus or any other number of empty manufactured artists, it´s hard to make a living doing this. That´s why it´s up to people like us to push & promote real talent like this band and others.

  • dat 7/4 time

  • @OTATre Are you sure? I was just wondering the time it's in. I think it changes quite a few times throughout.

  • @three6right it starts off in 7/4 then transitions into a normal 4/4 and resumes to 7/4 for the verses. the key is to figure out the pulse. the kick drum kinda helps you here

  • i love the piano on their songs, a perfect compliment to the beautiful harmony they attain as a band

  • @MusicPhilosophy

It's unfortunate that the piano player has quit the band.

  • @BrokenWingman Kelly was better in my book. Both worlds away from where I sit, but Kelly was one of the better pianist song writers I have listened to.

  • The lyrics may be a bit generic, and the chord progressions kind of cheesy...but hot damn are these guys some talented musicians. Chord progressions don't matter when you can make such kick ass things with them.

  • HOW does he make that beautiful sound with his guitar? I thought it was a violin, or one of those japanese violin thingies.

  • @wookster77 Ebow, my friend. (Google it).

  • @wookster77 its an ebow

  • @wookster77 It's just an external guitar effect. Not an ebow, he is obviously holding a pick, not an ebow. Although an ebow would produce a similar sound, it would be impossible to articulate the notes as a pick does.

  • @JahKewn it looks like he might have a midi pickup on his guitar so he's probably running that into some sort of synth processor

  • Nothin' like a little 7/8 to keep you on your toes

  • @VivicusTheGreat and lots of synkopations :D

  • Does anyone know where I can find piano sheet music or chords to this amazing song? I've tried to do it by ear myself but it isn't going too well...

  • once again. AMAZING! one of my fav songs :)

  • Star of david up in this bitch!

  • what kind of mic is that vocal mic? anyone have any idea?

  • @ikeepsecrets1 looks like an EV RE-20

  • 0:34 to 0:52 rules, great tune and guitar

  • 2:19 - 2:25

Interesting four notes there, were they necessary though? Couldn't he have simply placed the guitar down for this song and had those four notes played by the other guitarist?

  • @ValtielHead I think he generally just likes to hold his guitar even when he's not actually playing because it gives him a more natural presence. Being a guitarist/singer myself I feel much more comfortable with my guitar by me even when I'm not using it because I woulnd't know how to move/put my hands otherwise :)

  • @antiglobalist It is also likely they were recording more than one song at the time so there would be little point in putting the guitar down when they would need again after.

  • well recorded as usual but not their best piece. Not complex either as someone quoted.

  • There's something missing when it's not a grand piano in these studio videos. Whatever, just glad that they came out with another one of these for a great song! Hope they do Comfort in the Orchestration next!

  • Shaker Egg, FTW

  • The Reign of Kino is really a band who succesed in composing complex music without forgetting to be natural and to show emotions in an direct way.

    These guys are really musicians.

  • The old pianist was way better!!

  • @stringz311 ... don't even start that really? the air of sollitude this kind of music makes is just ruined with comments like that. good grief

  • @iwannacapo And faggot hippies like you ruin people's input on videos....that's why they made comments dumbass...

  • @stringz311 if that's true then you shouldn't mind my criticism. i jsut find it annoying that people judge musicians talents that way. just because the song my not be as pretty or intricate as others doesnt' mean it was writtin with any less skill : / . musicans should be judged by how well the acomplish the sound they were looking for not by how difficult or fancy or whatever there music is... so honestly the only acurate judge a musician can have is himself

  • @iwannacapo ...He's still sucks...

  • @iwannacapo by that logic, I'm the best at every instrument in the world. As long as I say I meant for it to be exactly like that.

  • @darkinmysilence and who am i to contradict? if you have that good of musical self esteem then congrats i could learn a few things from you :P

  • @stringz311 the old pianist wrote the material for this album, you can't really judge what the new guy's done other than the fact that he kept up some really intricate parts

  • Interesting effect on the Blue guitar. It's probably mostly good tone choice.

  • @TheReighnart It's not in the album though.

  • good luck in japan dj aka danny love u bro

  • Considering the major sound difference between the two, yeah, that's the best I can say. It hardly matters anyway, Kindo is going to continue to be my favorite band and I get that the longer Danny plays with the band, the better he's going to fit into the role. However, for now, I'm going to complain just because I can.

  • @Zephyricalus Good call. I see what unites us is our love of Kindo & that's cool. They should start taking applications for citizenship to the land where Kindo reigns. Good exchange, thanks

  • love the new piano player thats my bro but im better haha

  • I feel like Joe is secretly an intensely good guitar player but is just way too lazy to solo. More solos, Joe!

  • meh... a weak echo of their good stuff.Nothing that will stick longer than it takes for me to post this...

  • Why did they get a new pianist?

  • the bass player looks like nate mendal

  • really wonder what the band's direction is going to be after Kerry left...

  • @theonlycossar

Same, I'm pretty worried about the 3rd full length. They pretty much replaced the most important part of the band with someone vastly inferior. Danny's got 8 bed and 7 bath in Kelly's empty shoes.

  • @Zephyricalus First of all, Danny is playing music that Kelly had a hand in creating. Givin that, he's doing a darn good job. I too love Kelly but if the shoe were on the other foot & he had to play music that Danny created, youl'd probably be dogging out Kelly. All I can say is wait 'till Kindo puts out a project that Danny has a hand creating. I bet he'll blow us away.

  • @malikamakamuki

At least Kelly wouldn't be playing on a keyboard :>

  • @Zephyricalus Hmm, I thought I made a good point w/o dissing Danny or Kelly and that's the best you can say? Well, it's all good. Actually, Kelly probably would be using a board because word is that the studio got rid of the piano that Kelly was using in the first vids.

  • @theonlycossar you mean kelly?

  • Stumble upon brought me here. Irony?

  • @pyrotickenny that's not ironic, just funny

  • @pyrotickenny Look up irony in a dictionary.

  • @Nannirk @Tooshnaba an outcome of events contrary to what was; I was browsing the Hacking section of stumbleupon which is contray to what I was browsing.

  • @pyrotickenny Contrary means opposite. Music is not the opposite of hacking.

  • @Nannirk on the /Contrary/ opposite in direction or position, Not the direction in which I was trying to head.

  • @pyrotickenny Me too, my friend .... me too!

  • @pyrotickenny StumbleUpon just got 10349672039856 times cooler! :D

  • @pyrotickenny Sounds more like serendipity to me.

  • I love this song! its epic, its well written, now on one of my top favourite songs :)

  • wonderful voice, was waiting for the guitar to play for an amazing chorus or bridge play, never happened. Great song anyway.

  • Love this guy's voice!! Amazing <3

  • Awesome

  • great but singer just held the guitar the wholetime

  • @thatonebraski A true musician will only use ones instrument when needed! :-)

  • @thatonebraski uh, yeah? And that's a problem because?

  • @thatonebraski not really...he played some trigger notes with the delay pedal

  • @thatonebraski go to watch the other videos ;)

  • hey, great job guys! Love the vocals. Piano is not too shabby either :) check out some of our vids also, if you get a chance. laters and best of luck

  • Beautiful song... I love it! :)

  • I'm sorry, but it doesn't seem Reign of Kindo.

    I don't like this one.

Oh, and true, a piano would be so much better.

  • @Gwiynher Have you heard the album version? It's much better, one of their best tracks imo

  • I have a love/hate relationship with these guys. I love their music, and hate that they make it look so easy. ^^

  • @Zanian19

yes. they have ruined all other music for me, in a way that they have changed the way i listen to it, forever.

also, the fact that i probably will never be as talented as they are.

    but i love them.

  • I work with IT and aint it unbelievable that i've seen more pro musicians here than anywere else.

Music midia is blind and led by money.

  • Awesome song! and plus the pianist is Jewish! :D

  • These guys are very good. I would love to know how much audio editing had to be done to correct any mistakes if any, or if this was truly a live unedited take. Great writing too! Where are these guys from?

  • @BobConolty They are from Buffalo. =D

  • @BobConolty I believe they're from Buffalo NY. It probably says on their Facebook page

  • The bass player kinda gets neglected in this video, haha. And yes, that keyboard part would be awesome with a piano instead, but oh well

  • very nice song

  • breathtaking!

  • A little too poppish for my tastes, but I love how each instrument seems to be playing on a completely different scale but it all blends together so seamlessly... Pretty kick-ass, if they go big, I'd respect them.

  • @Ghostman7777 Poppish? I wouldn't call it that..

  • @Ghostman7777 bro.. reign of kindo is the furthest thing from pop. you need a damn deep appreciation for music to comprehend what they are doing and i don't think that qualifies for the mindless, repetitive, rambling lyrics and techno beats that is pop.

  • @punchfloor Pop is a lot of things dude. I also happen to find this is a little poppish, but that doesn't make it any less brilliant. Genre are just lables.

  • There is a strange mix of styles in this song - I kinda like it!

  • Dear god, ever since this video came out, I haven't been able to listen to the song OVER AND OVER. I already got the song in my computer and all... damn, huge thumbs up to RoK :)

  • Maybe at the moment one of the best Bands on the Planet. So incredible good.

  • My morning made tyvm x

  • Can anybody tell me if that hollow body guitar he's using is a gretsch or a gibson?

  • @RedEyes987 gibson

  • @RedEyes987 Gibson

  • amazing song, these guys are going to be big if they keep it up!

  • i get to play with these guys monday the 31st(january) in pittsburgh pa. I cant wait i really really enjoy their music. come check the show. Smiling moose pittsburgh pa

  • Yay ! It was awesome.

Try to talk to Emi or Warner music. They'll love you !

  • A piece of Masterwork. Genious indeed.

  • Love the beat of the song.

  • 2:45 to 3:17 I like, and was hoping they would take that segment and finish the song with that feel. It had a a very 'Pink Floyd' feel to it that I would've like to hear play out the song . Opens the door for an awesome outro, well could' have for all intents and purposes. I must say, though, I would have loved more solo from that Gibson semi-hollow body....thumbs up if you agree ANONS

  • Hmmm; All I can say is, even the greatest baseball players never bat 1000. The greatest hockey players never score on EVERY breakaway. Kindo is one of the BEST bands out there today & I love them. But I probably won't put this song on repeat. However, I can still appreciate the the musicianship.

  • this is one of my favorite songs on the album!! along with blistered hands and flowers by the moon

  • We've been waiting forever for a new video. Can't wait to see what you guys do on your next album!

  • Love the falsetto.

  • Gr8 work! Thanks for sharing this.

  • love their music to death but this tune just doesn't get to me...

  • fantastic band

  • Très belle réalisation, ça sonne nickel O_o

La chanson est vraiment jolie, bien joué les gars

  • this is the only video rpoland has uploaded that, honestly, did nothing for me. nothing personal to the guys, but it's just not my proverbial cup o' tea. hey rpoland....any new Sergio Altamura or maybe Ewan Dobson coming out anytime soon, perchance?

  • @Spyder8477 trok did nothing for you? do you not have ears?

  • @wreckml who is trok and how long before it delivers? I just wasn't feeling it...I'll let it play....

  • @Spyder8477 i just love their sound... this cd took longer to catch on for me than their debut. try out "moments in between"

  • that was awesome

  • One of my favourite Kindo songs. This videos great, but I like the album version a lot more.

  • this band is awesome....found out about them a while back. thanks for posting!

  • I LOVE THIS BAND!!!!

    THESE GUYS TOTALLY ROCK...THANKS RPOLAND.

  • I must be a true popfag then because Kindo is my favorite band. Do miss Kelly though.

  • The new piano player is good, but i really do miss other guy!

  • ywah this is my song. thank fpr the Video

  • Yes yes yes yes yes!

My favorite song of the album!

  • @deschlu 2:21 -ish he plays it.

  • I wish the keyboard was a piano, would have made this song so much better

  • @smallsam52 It's all about looks nowadays, isn't it?

  • I hate limp American pop music...

  • @ginemginem This isn't pop music lol.

  • @kevdog330 oh yes it is... It may not be "popular" but it's pop..

  • the sound of disciplined musicians with the innocence of a child.. having seen such a unique song in a long time

  • when the electric guitar first came in, it made the song

  • great song!

  • Anyone else hear Sufjan Stevens' "Concerning the UFO Sighting..." in the intro?

  • @AlanKey86 just what I was thinking

  • nice uk rock, by the way

  • Why does the singer hold a guitar ... he dont play with it !!!!

  • @deschlu i think in other songs of this recording he plays

  • @deschlu so it doesn't buzz

  • simply wonderful song and interpretation
