Listened to the Blink182 version as well but like the rawness of this version.The guy doesnt try too hard and a typical cockney - 'just cant be bothered' attitude and the fact he is in his pyjamas makes it sound pretty cool : ) LOL !

Also he seems to have written this song from personal experience in 'space travel in my blood' 'long journeys' and so on.this is all about two people tripping I suppose........

The reason why people bash Blink is they think they're not punk. And I have to admit that, because punk is not just music - it's a state of mind. Maybe they have that, but they've all got rich houses and stuff. It's not bad, but I don't see them ranting against evil of the world.

Never knew there was a Blink 182 cover of this old masterpiece.
