I love it! You hit it dead on the head!! Back when KNIN and QV103 ran the waves! Run DMC's walk this way would be the first crossover hip hop to be heard and that was it! lmao. This needed to be said YEARS ago!! lol....
i remember those days.. my cousin would come to visit from dfw and rag on how far behind our radio stations were.. it is much better now. but fallz town needs a good reggaeton station :)
that was good. i used to live in falls town and everything was all about KNIN. i was born in cali, so during the summers i would bring back music that i would have recorded from the local radio stations here in cali and take them back to wichita, good times.... good times! i have family down there still and i hope to go out there and visit them soon, and best believe i'm gonna check out Hot 103. it's good to hear that they realized there was more then just old pop music out there ~kraftygee79~
So what you're saying is that Wichita Falls finally fell into the music dumpster along with the rest of the country. What a shame your 103.9 transmission tower didn't fall before it got fine tuned. Not having the facts before me makes it a bit difficult to make an accurate statement but, I'd imagine crime and violence began going up not too long after 103 began puking on WF. Sorry I couldn't be there for you Wichita, before your social fall began. I enjoy watching tall stuff crash to the ground
Yeah I know. I used to drive downtown, I believe it was on 7th and Ohio, to tease all the black whores selling it for 7 bucks a pop -- and I can still state to this day that I've never paid for it -- and then I'd drive down Scott St to the North to that road that goes under the railroad tracks and I'd drive thru the entrance to colored town where the sewer system and the ball park was -- and eventually up Flood street to see what all the nigros were up to on any given night...no rap-crap then.
very true back in da day i had to go to dallas and record off 104.5 haha
