  • Thanks - my dad actually taught me how to make pompoms when I was a kid for my ice skates, by using the cardboard circles. I've been looking for another way and you've helped me find it. I especially loved your double tieing hint, as that is the hardest part to making a great pompom. You go through all that work and it falls apart because it's not tied tightly. I can't wait to try it. You did an excellent job with your demonstration.

  • lovely video, very clear qual and your a great teacher!

  • wow thanks! <3

  • so I bought the pom tree, how come after I tie the yarn and cut it, the yarn is sorta loose no matter how I tight I tie it. It will come out if tugging it a little, I had to glue the center to secure it.

  • @RE2LeonS the center tie must not be tight enough so the strands are still loose. i do the double wrap before tightening the tie and it seems to help.

  • @SusanBAnderson I tie it on the device and then when I take it off, I tie it again even tighter. I'll tie it like you did next time. LoL I used like heavy modeling glue to glue that sucker in the center, such a mess! Thanks

  • OMG Thank you for the video! I was trying to figure out how to make those FOREVER. Where can I get the pattern to your scarf? It looks amazing. I want to do a couple dangling pom poms at the ends instead of a V end

  • @RE2LeonS The scarf is in a book called Scarf Style.
