Don't you ever notice that she's the typical Gemini? Plenty of people don't identify with the movie just because they don't recognize themselves in the characters. Melancholia was one of the worst movies I've seen in the past 365 days. Dunst's character is a whore, the whole movie is about a boring wedding, and other than two planets colliding, there is nothing redeeming whatsoever about this film. I walked out after an hour of life-robbing lackluster content. Should've gotten my money back, but was too mad at the film industry to even care.
Eha.... this pisses me off.... LOL first I have to watch Sookie Stackhouse reject Eric Northman on TrueBlood... now this Bit...h... is basically doing the same thing with this dumb foreshadowing scene... There is not a woman in this world who could resist Alexander Skarsgard... especially kissing her breasts! Damn, Lars...et tu... LOL
that was beautiful... but the picture just lying there... that was heartbreaking... Alex is such a good actor.... so is she, of course... LOL but I loved his tenderness....
Even though he's still unbelievably attractive and even though he's almost too sweet, I like this scene because it's realistic. It's not too sexy or too anything, it's just how I'd imagine two newly weds to act. Despite how the couple actually turns out by the end of the night. I can appreciate the realism.
oh! and ps I love when he traces her face with his finger tip, and how she moves his hands

This looks really good, sweet and sad. Alex and Kirsten have an amazing chemistry and that scene is beautifully acted out. Can't wait to see this movie.
@Alytoner weight fluctuations and in a bustier wedding gown like this, she's probably got a nice corset or something to push and form curves to make things look nice and all... then being hollywood, there's always inserts and pushups and all those sorta tricks too!
