are there any other good lakes around basildon/thurrock i started carping in suffolk but recently moved to tilbury, havnt found a lake i wanna invest some time in yet, whats the warren like for day tickets?

@PAULCOD89 I only ever had one out about 15lb in video part 3.My brother had one about the same size but have yet to get one of the big ones.I will give it another go a some point ,i think its a hard lake.

@quickfingers2 aaa well its a hard lake if you dont really know alot about it... ive had a 32lb 90z common out of there but have lost bigger... for a hard lake you should try doggets that is in rochford,, the carp arent massive but still push up to 36lb + ive had loads of twenties and a couple of 30's :-)) nice vids tho mann keep it up..

aquatels is good but hard,going to fish it some more in the winter,my brother hooked a big one the other day but lost it at the net.

another technique for weed, is to use a PVA nugget and place that around the hook to stop any weed gathering on the hook....
