  • It's the terrorizing, stalking, and even kidnapping that they do and get away with that boggles my mind. Especially these days when TSA agents are fondling 5 yr old "terrorists" and Obama just passes the NDAA law that allows him special privileges to arrest anyone w/o trial or warrant? ANd he signs it on NEW Years Eve? The big hidden secret under all this, from govt to COS, is satanism. THey hide it in freemasonry the same exact way. They shield themselves with upstanding citizens.

  • Listen to all of this crap that they're talking about....it literally is ALL meaningless.

  • Loved this video!

  • does anyone else not see the irony of when they talk about them trying to send him crazy by asking certain questions. These are 2 people that believe in body thetans and xenu...I think the damage was already done.

Anyway, hope they are fully awake now and realise that it all stinks of cult.

  • This is bloody amazing. They are so nice!! If all Scientologists were like them, Scientology would win overnight. So, of course, the Scilons get rid of them!

  • They seem kind of nice. The kind of people you'd want as neighbours.

  • thank you for doing this. this was so so surreal to watch. an unbelievable look inside.

  • Didn't Jason Beghe say that David Miscavige canceled these "six month checks" that OT VII's were required to have, saying it was a "mistake"?

So, this couple was right all along, and look at how their church treated them.

  • WOW, so much wasted life, wasted money, wasted time, at lest they got out.

Just listen to the silly nonsensical content of the talk? I'm sure they thought it was logical when they were in.

  • What a great video!!

  • When you're not involved with Scientology and you hear intelligent, articulate people talk about this ridiculous bullshit, it just blows your mind. RLH was a fucking science fiction writer, not some sort of prophet!

  • Don't understand anything here......But it seems like there's even more red tape and mind-numbing bureaucracy than there is in the military.

  • how can that guy stand listening to her voice?

  • I have no idea what they just said.

  • @skalded Yeah...I have more luck with Telemundo. Much more.

  • Wow it's almost like a different language.

I take it "dropped her body", means they died?

  • you two are great together, really

  • thank you for your honesty! i hope u both are doing well.

  • "She was getting brighter and brighter...." So what kind of idiot was she when she started?

  • what r they on about?

  • I was born in GDR and i tell you the mind-control, the athmosphere of fear and suspicion in this communist dictature was not even close to the Level i can see here.

And these people live in the heart of america.

  • @knochenginni Yeah, and the bizarre thing is when you point these things out, they accuse YOU of being intolerant. A total transferral of guilt.

  • hahahaha this is the relegion for World of Warcraft adicts........

  • this is a fantastic movie plot, maybe with tom cruise? in the lead. i was having trouble with all the initials, but this lady is a great story teller, and i can tell by her expressions just what s what, even to the point, where she says, so we send a copy to osa, and i sat forward and went , oh no with my mouth open, and typed this comment, so i am going to watch to the end , cause as i said, this is a great script, thanks you are so brave to see the light, without even knowing it, ha ha

  • "This is insane, this is not scientology---I"m leaving!!" That"s a should be every scientologists mantra. Please read "The Montauk Book of the Dead" by Peter Moon for a lot of useful info and it"s a pretty good read. Cheers Rob.

  • how can people be involved in something so incredibly stupid?

  • @hillarychapman1

Scientology doesn't lure in as many stupid people as one might think. The lure of Scientology is the social aspect. Friends lure in friends, lovers lure in lovers, and when one joins, everyone is excited to have you. It's not that there's something wrong with your judgment. It's the seduction of being part of something and fitting in with a community. Having a whole group of people who believe what you believe.

  • @OpenComments Maybe they are doing it for the social aspect, but if thats the case they would still be fully aware that is all silly sci-fi nonsense! I hate it when people say "oh you dont have to be stupid to join a cult"....YES YOU DO! The smallest amount of research on L.R. Hubbard would open your eyes so wide they would pop out! These people are STUPID sorry they are! Also they know about the evil side of scientology....so they are stupid and cruel!

  • @1THETRUTH10

It is a common misconception to believe people join Scientology because of the doctrine of Xenu (i.e. sci-fi nonsense that you mention). People actually come to Scientology hoping for increased intelligence, improved personality, and help in dealing with personal problems (as it advertises itself as a self-help philosophy). Later, if they had paid enough, they learn a system of beliefs based on science fiction stories, infestations of alien spirits and exploding volcanos.

  • @1THETRUTH10

They Texans, so they will buy into pretty much anything.

  • these people still didn't get the whole fucking thing is bullshit. you can't get harmed by applying the tech wrongly because THERE IS NO FUCKING TECH, IT'S ALL BULLSHIT! it's like you have to hit these people in the head with a frigging bat and still it won't penetrate.

  • @MisterBouncyBounce I think they speak not to harsh, because they hope to convince scientologists

  • Rotfl.....I think that's what happens after 20 some years of indoctrine and brain washing, it would be great if xenutv could have another interview with them it's been 10 yrs since this video was done, would be interesting to see if they still talk this way!! Some of this people really believe in the teaching of LRH, but are against D.Miscaviage. It's all nuts but i hope they would do another video!

  • I love the way this video ends.

  • This video is full of Scientologese. It's a whole other language that you can't understand without some heavy duty translations. It's crazy.

  • The RTC is there to report out tech, once you do that you are sent to ethics with the MAA and your observations of out tech are ignored....its crazy,if you know there is out tech you are supposed to write it up asap but it just gets ignored its so annoying, the texch is there but it is just no put into place as it is being controlled and handled by people who are not able or responsible to do so...fact!

  • I listened very completely to Greg and Debra Barnes story and the quoting of the reference by L. Ron Hubbard that Greg quoted in the interview. The reference Greg quoted says "No sec-checks in the non-interference area". The non-interference area is from Clear to OT III. Greg was on OT VII with Debra so the two of them were not in the non-interference area. So this policy of not applying sec checks does not apply to them. They fought it and lost. They have O/W's.

  • @toomajan right..and that justifies the bull shit they went through. hardly. why didn't someone calmly point it out then? o yea..someone had rewritten the rules! scam fraud church of dishonesty.money is the single ingredient to keeping these people down and railroading them to keep paying instead of learning!

  • For ex-scientologists, they sound more like dissatisfied customers. I'm pretty sure this couple were always two steps away from rejoining Scientology or some other weirdo cult.

  • @Broyale26 All ex-scientologists that paid money sound like dissatisfied customers! There are other couples online telling their stories & its the same That's the first sign it's not a church. It's only the Sea-org people that don't pay money.

  • @Broyale26 totally agree. Just my words too. They will simply not admit they have paid a lot money without having something for them. The actor Jason Beghe admits he has paid a lot money for some worthless crap.

  • These 2 ppl are scary as hell.

  • my GOD, quantum physics is less complicated...Thank GOD Christ died on the cross....Thank you father!!!

  • This just goes to show you a high IQ doesn't protect you from anything. My sister could be a scientologist. She believes everything my father tells her. He's an adulterer and a freemason.

  • Fucksake, the husband Greg is just not getting it, the fool still speaks highly of hubbard, hubbard said himself in a lecture that sci is NOT a religion. Greg still uses annoying sci lingo, ie:dropped the body etc.

  • These people scare me....

  • dammit I accidently gave beatcat a thumbs up shit!

  • hello, just curious, but why is everybody so mean to beatcat? I checked his profile and theres alot of nasty posts to him.

  • Is the alphabet soup and abbreviations a part of the brain washing?

  • She interrupts him too much.

  • @marcus3379 Well they have to be precise with event order and whatnot and he doesn't have all the facts straight, it's common with males, no details but memory of the general event.

  • What a wonderful, feminine, musical, soothing and pleasant voice this woman has.

What man WOULDN'T want to marry her and listen

to this voice for the rest of his life?

She must give an amazing blowjob, that's all I can say.

  • i bet their sex life is amazing................

  • How can someone be smart and quick minded enough to make that much money, and be so gullible at the same time?

  • the greatest mystery of all... i've been asking myself that very question about the catholic church...and mormonism.

  • But at least those religions don't kick you out if you don't tithe or something...

I mean this just sucks you dry...and for all these people with money they have GOT to be used to detecting when someone is just trying to get their money.

Sure, churches always preach about tithing, but they don't record how much you give, etc, and then kick you out of the church if you don't give enough or even at all.

Don't get me wrong though, I've seen the evil that is "TBN"

  • @fatsomamacheese It's true that they suck money from you, but is that the only reason these people left? Or, just because of an internal disagreement? How about the fact that it's all bullhocky?

  • @EricZombie Well yeah, all that too. I think they realized it's just a business. That's all it is. It's a very intricate way to get money from people's pockets into their business and make them feel "good" for doing it at the same time.

  • I understand they are pitching around a LOT of terms that you may not know. However, IF you listen to this video---and what happened to them, you can hear it isn't about money--it's about their "church" violating the very "Tech" they've supported for years. Their "church" Lying about them, twisting what happened to COVER UP what the Barnes' had found out about, and spoke up about. This is shortly after they left, so yes, they're still using TONS of the lingo. It IS a great example of Scios "in".

  • @ToryMagoo44 PS: This started with ALL of us who were on "OT 7" being ordered to Fly to Clearwater, FL

EVERY 6 MONTHS---to get grilled with "Sec Checks" (tons of questions about "possible" bad deeds---which YOU Have to PAY FOR!) The Barnes' found a reference by L. Ron Hubbard saying IF someone is doing well on this level, they should be left alone.(Scroll up to 38 minutes and listen). Since they were, yet kept being ordered to do "6 month checks"...they wrote it up. And then were attacked.

  • @ToryMagoo44 I *think* I understand, though I've never been a Scientologist. Is it something like a Christian church creating mandated guidelines that the congregation should follow, then a parishioner pointing out that the Bible states the exact opposite, then being harassed and marginalized for it?

The jargon is a bit hard to follow, but I can forgive them for using it, being such a big part of their lives for such a long time.

  • Here's a couple who took 20 years and almost $1 million bucks to find out $cientology is a giant steaming pile of horseshit.

  • These two seem like nice people, but not in any way special. So what's the point of being an OT anything?

  • Is why Scientology is such bullshit its not science its just a mind fuck

  • WOW. I am not a Scientologist but I understood the procedures they were going through. The "church" I used to belong to performed the same processes though they were through the bible rather than LRH.

  • Oh my .... grown up people. *facepalm*

  • Good job WBM, interesting! Gosh, like I didn't know enough acronyms already! *LOL*

  • Hey you guys! I just confronted a reg at the org I go to that has TOTALLY invalidated me for over a year and regged me for a cycle I shouldn't have been on..

I cannot tell you the NIGHTMERE it's been!

I have soo much charge blown by getting him to agree he was WRONG and incorrect, and admitted WHAT IS true for me.. is true.. and shouldn't have invalidated me like this..

I know you guys are now 'declared' from Scientology, and you say you're happier NOW.. but I SWEAR.. I have this WANT to

  • have you guys confront April B, and everyone else who was responsible for this declare NOW.. and see if they don't AGREE they invalidated you..

Maybe they WILL agree.. NOW.. and even get them to say they were WRONG!!!

I really want this for you guys, as I have just been through a very similar situation.. of invalidation.

not that you want to go back.. or maybe you do, but I think you should feel that validation for being made WRONG and invalidated!! someone's got to be in agreement with you!

  • You have been brainwashed. Would you like to talk?

  • i just tried writing you, you're not accepting anyone who's NOT a friend.

    thanks for the invite;)

  • Great video! I cant wait to see your next videos soon! As you said you will do videos for the management event and other stuff. PLEASEEE do them SOON!!!

    Wish you best!

    Ex Scientologist

  • thank you!!

    for your video..

that SUCKS what you went through, believe it or not..I feel my experience that I'm going through is somewhat WORSE... but not to brag:)

I'm going through a very simliar experience.. minus the OT7, very NEW to Scientology,

but you are not alone; and thank you for sharing this!

you guys are doing WELL now..

    You guys are AWESOME!

I would love to have you as a terminal.

ever think of offering your Theta knowledge to others?

  • Hi guys, your story is VERY insightful in seeing how Scientology affects your language, thinking and mind.

And by the way, here is hoping you dont trade one cult for another, such as the belief that a Bronze age AlphaGod impregnated his own mother to give birth to a blood sacrifice on a cross to appease his own anger towards you.

    thats as crazy as Scientology.

  • Its as corporate as a Wal-mart business meeting. The church here in Nashville cost $6million. They have a staff of 30, and their Sunday service only draws 10-12 people (including me, I went to see how it was) - I saw their Dianetics movie and LRH interview, got a dozen free booklets and a 3 hour DVD of infomercials and vague redundant success stories of how "it works" - "I had a problem and then I read Dianetics and now I feel much better!"

  • Well bless your hearts. It sounds like you are struggling to make sense of this awful event. I am sorry you both got "shunned." (the most powerful mind control method in the world)

As a non member but supporter I encourage you to learn to stop speaking in code as much as possible. One of the ways they kept you hooked was with these code words. I honestly can't follow your story because of the code words.

  • If you ask questions expensive Co$ classes never end

  • It *sounds* like English......

  • OMG

    These poor folks are serious.

  • in what other religion do you have to pay large somes of money to gain help?

  • yh but people dont spend 10s of thoiusandsd of pounds on self help courses. if you are a sientologist how can you still be apart of a "religion" that has so much evidence stacked against it calling it an evil organisation

  • sure they do. ever hear of college tuition?

try going to Harvard for free.

  • anyone of any religion can go to harvard what does that have to do with religion

  • yea, but anyone can't go the Harvard for FREE. in other words EDUCATION whether RELIGIOUS or NOT costs MONEY.

    so WHAT.

  • religions like christianity, sikhism offer free adive, counciling and confessions. your sort going of topic mentioning harvard. . i have no issue with you believing in scientologies theories about our excistence what i dont like is the scientologist leaders manipulating people into giving them money. you maybe believing in it with the best intentions but scientology was not set up to teach people it was set up to make money which is not what a religion is there for

  • so does Scientology. and those OTHER religions ALSO have COLLEGES that cost MANY thousands OF DOLLARS.

    just like Scientology.

and just because you claim that they "manipulate" people doesn't make it true. MANY groups are and have been falsely accused throughout HISTORY.

  • yh colleges but you have to PAY for councilling and self help courses. most religions offer free help. sientology are trying to make money out of it

  • Yea most religions have started out the same way that cults do. Saying that their "religion" is the only right one. Not to mention all the crusades and all the sick stuff that we have had to read in the history books because of "religion". The purpose of scientology is (for those at the top) to let them control people and make money.

  • Studying the Bible is free. Ask any Christian to give you a Bible, and I am sure they will gladly do it. Ask a Scientologist to give you OT "scriptures", they will not.

  • The difference is that you are paying for a genuine service to succeed in life when you go to college.

Scientology extorts weak minded people of tens of thousands of dollars.

Really all these people need are good supportive friends and not some shit about aliens and volcanoes! LOL

  • Yeshiva is FREE for many/most students.

  • Well first off, YU isn't really just a yeshiva. It's a university, with many secular studies, just like Georgetown or Notre Dame.

Many/most true yeshivas are free for students. I'm sure that is the case for studying in a Catholic seminary as well.

Scientology charges its OT's $30,000, $40,000 every 6 months for the sec check/"refresher". That's very different from YU or Georgetown charging tuition for a secular degree or a rabbinical/ ministerial degree.

  • well, first off, I know of PLENTY of yeshivas and Catholic schools that cost money for its usual students.

of course, there are scholarships for students who may be needy, but that is a different point.

second, it is NO different than charging tuition, since Scientology can be done as a SECULAR activity as WELL, and there is no "rule" that it MUST be done as a religious activity.

  • So you think it is kosher for someone to pay >$20,000 every 6 months for a sec check?

    I'm just curious.

Are there scholarships for people who don't want to pay for the sec checks?

Is Scientology a religion for you or a "secular" activity?

Do you agree with the Barneses that the Tech is no longer standard, and that it is being squirrelled by the RTC? - or do you think they squirrelled that LRH reference?

  • The "scholarship" would be joining the Sea Org.

  • LOL How true

  • You NEVER answer the QUESTIONS do you vaLLarrr... you speak FALSELY about your beliefs, you are DECEPTIVE & DISHONEST... you are LIVING a LIE.

  • wrong. I always answer legitimate questions.

  • Scientology doesn't lure in as many crazy people as one might think.

  • OpenComments, what you've said applies to ALL religions, ALL political parties, ALL cliques.

People in groups behave like beasts, period.

It is the "outsider" who is ALWAYS the one who brings about worthwhile things in life. Groups are ALWAYS poisonous.

  • None of the mainstream religions practice and encourage anything to the extent fair game is applied. The majority of these religions do not apply fairgame tactics as institutionalized policies;Scientology does.

Activities this sect is currently participating in haven't been seen since the dark ages. It was wrong then and it's wrong now. Just because people used to burn witches, heretics, and atheists, does that make a new religion doing the same thing today alright? No, of course it doesn't.

  • i respect your video but to me it sounds like my office when i worked for a real estate lawyer with acronyms flying back and forth. i am still watching to see if there is something mindblowng at the end.

  • Many of you simply don't don't know and don't dig. You've never been in Scn, never gone up the levels it offers. You only know what you are informed by mediums like FixNoise, etc. Some of us actaully did more -- we found out for ourselves. The technology it offers from Hubbard works -- the management of the church is what does not. Find out about something before one (ironically) calls these people 'sheep.'

  • The results of applying their crackpot psychotherapy (called "auditing") is to weaken the mind. The mind goes from a rational state to an irrational one as the delusional contents of the subconscious mind are brought to the surface and are assumed to be valid. It also makes a person more susceptible to suggestion since it submerges the critical thinking faculties of the mind into a partial subconscious state. YEAH REAL GREAT HELP THERE =D

  • doesnt make shit for sense to me. of course, i got all of my understanding of scientology from South Park... I could easily understand how she got involved with this cult, she seems like a babbling retard.

  • lurk moar

  • their terminology is harder to understand than Chinese.

  • I agree :)

  • I don't get it... have they stopped believing the teachings of Co$, or did they just fall out with the way it is run?

  • Gotta love it... even after all the years of control the inborn, innate "bullshit" meter is still pretty hard to overcome. Good for them, welcome home...to the land of happy WOGs.

  • These videos are so informative. I watched all the videos in xenutv & xenutv1. Post as many of these as you can! Thanks Mark

  • Congratulations, Greg and Debra.

There's something very Zen about using the tech learned within the church in order to escape from the church.

You gotta get in to get out........

  • Tech learned? LOL.. ust walk out the door and leave. If they threaten you, well, that's what firearms are for.

  • When she compelite OT 7 - she talk with gamburgers and walls?

  • I'm so embarrased for these people....they're such sheep! How in the hell do these people follow Hubbard so blindly? I don't understand how he gained so much ground with his followers...what qualifications does his have to give all of this advise to his followers? Do they not need evidence?

  • Hey Mark this was in 2000, what about bringing them in for a follow up interview and see what's happened with them since then?

  • Most anon types have not considered that some scientologists may be sincere and can be helped with the right information.

For myself I will be satisfied if some folks are warned away before they become trapped like you are.

Do you tell others that it is right to pay for the knowledge from the church?

  • oh anons don't consider a LOT of things, I have found. For myself, I'll be satisfied to keep some folks out of your clutches.

    which I have.

and people have a right to pay for what they WISH to pay for.

  • "and people have a right to pay for what they WISH to pay for." - vaLLarrr

You didn't ANSWER the QUESTION vaLLarrr...

"Do you tell others that it is right to pay for the knowledge from the church?"

You are an auditor Jess... do you get the money?

  • You mean they QRC'd your SRTU? Holy crap! They should be ashamed because LRH never would have allowed that to Flap his POVR on top of the YULM. They need to R.E.S.P.E.C.T the LRH Writings or else get Flapped Xenu style!

  • Should I be worried that although I have never been in Scientology, I understood everything thing the Barnes said?

  • OT7 is that a pokemon?

  • brave people! May Xenu protect you!

  • Hey Mark, hows it going! Hope you are well.

The language they use to describe the "technology," which in reality is meaningless drivel.

Funny how they each spent 20 years of their lives in Scientology, probably brought in five to ten million and then get bum-rushed out. If I was them I would have written a book that would have ripped Scientology apart in pieces so small you would have been able to study its atomic structure.

  • Debra seems completely on the ball with names and dates. Greg is much better at rhetoric. They make a great team. Since this was 9 years ago, I wonder what they're up to today.

  • Great video! I watched almost the whole thing!

  • when to "sec check" someone? wtf wat?

what's "sec check"? who runs this clown "church"? where's all the moneyz go?

  • david miscavige runs this clown church. the money is hoarded, used to harass critics such as the owner of this channel and many others, etc etc.

  • one of the best reports i've seen so far.

it was very interesting to watch, thanks for sharing.

  • Too much Scientology jargon, I can't follow :D

  • The way they talk and hold themselves in this video is so creepy. They still seem to be mentally messed up from all those years of Scientology....so sad. Hope they get better and I'm glad they got out. Thanks for sharing.

  • It took me three days to get throw, but it was worth it. Very interesting stuff, If I was a scientoligist I think I would have got more out of it. I hope more scientoligist watch this all the way throw.

  • I've often wondered how quite ordinary people are able to grasp the infinite complexities of the Hubbard scriptures and say this is right and that is wrong. There must be some kind of crazy logic in it. Even when they get out they go on talking scientologese. And none of it makes any sense at all.

  • auchraw---

"I've often wondered how quite ordinary people are able to grasp the infinite complexities of the Hubbard scriptures and say this is right and that is wrong."

Infinite complexities.... LOL. Its pretty simple once you understand that LRH made his own definitions for words already in existence that had different definitions. In addition made up his own acronyms and forced people to use them. After understanding these portions its easy.

  • Something I've always wondered is what causes the cult to single out certain people. I mean, if these two reached OTVII, they must have been following the cult's desired tech pretty strictly. Why were they being audited and harrassed? Scientology is flippin' strange. And spooky.

  • Auditing is very expensive. Selling a level twice is profitable. And most people don't question. They get hooked on the Bridge and believe every word they are told.

To paraphrase Graham Berry, Scientology is a criminal conspiracy operating a money-making scam disguised as a religion and hiding behind several hundred front groups.

  • Would be funny to see a sec check done to an OT 8 and the OT 8 answers every question with Yes.

Have you run over a crippled old lady and then ate her?

    "Yes"

Then do it in a controlled manner so the needle doesn't float

  • Unfortunately these two people are still exhibiting signs of deep brainwashing. They're both extremely confused, speaking LRH gibberish and going through the mind control motions - if you'll notice the three-fold repetition and intensity of the husband, and the emphatic way the woman is still so inside the system. It's honestly profoundly disconcerting to observe.

  • I hope they are better now. This was filmed back in 2000 I believe.

  • Thanks for doing these!

  • Comment removed

  • Don't be too hard on them. They're obviously still following the tech and have chosen not to read or view anything truly defaming to the church.

  • I have to ask Greg & Debra Barnes, if they think LRH was such a good guy what their thoughts are on him telling people asbestos is OK and fiberglass kills??? Have they seen the interview on Freewinds?

  • Once again I am glad they are out but they sound like two people that can only empathize with themselves. They still think LRH is a good guy???> That man did to others what was done to them, Ron's son killed himself the other disowned him! LRH had a history of beating and locking away people that he was paranoid about and the CO$ sued these people if they spoke out. David McCabage learned from the master!! Greg & Debra Barnes need to learn they are two in a long line of victims

  • I think it is great that they are out but He said that he has knowledge on Lisa McPherson but he did have issues with the CO$ till they started messing with him. If he had this knowlage on Lisa then why did he not come out and tell the truth about her then? Again It sounds like these two are headed in the right direction! MARK WHEN WAS THIS INTERVIEW DONE?

  • 2000

  • Thank you

  • I hope you guys are having a great life now.

    * Thanks for this Mark. (feels like I've known you for a long time now, lol...keep on keepin' on).

  • Stop these abbreviations; I can't take it anymore.

  • great video WBM

  • she reminds me of Trudy Wiegel of off reno 911.

  • Two complete idiots...anyone who believes this crap deserves whatever they get...I hope that they had to pay a million dollars for this nonsense! Some people are sheep and need to be told what to do...

  • glad to see this one finally up here. I've watched every video I could of yours, on and off youtube.

the barnes are a cute couple. I hope that they are doing well now.

  • Acronym mayhem....

  • Every religious text is 100% correct.

Cheers WBM, a little more insight into Rons insane asylum.

  • Great video WBM

  • Great video, thanks for posting Mark xxx

  • Thanks for posting the video, WBM.

Always great to see what you've got posted. :)
