The Saturn game is actually pretty good, despite what everyone says. I'm tired of people saying "the transparency effects suck", therefore the entire game is shit, or "it's not available for a US console", therefore it sucks, or "it's really choppy on an EMULATOR", therefore it must suck on a REAL, legal Saturn console. To each his own, but play it for real before you hate it (buy it on eBay today!).

Not always true.

The saturn one has more but it also comes with longer loading times, and stretched graphics which make some things look fat.

I went to all the trouble of downloading Saturn emulators, japanese roms, etc etc etc, and let me tell you... It wasn't worth it.

It really cost me a lot of trouble to get the emulator running just to see these "Lost Levels" and they are REALLY short.

The things that made my quest worth the effort were:

1: Alucard spear (for hardcore fans only)

2: Speedboots (God why the USA version didn't have these?)

3: And the Alucard Picture =D

Everything else is the exact same thing.

For the Crisagram you just need to kill Schmoo in the inverted library until her drops it.

Definitely the best weapon in the game just because its so fast.

"Crissaegrim" is a mountain range from Lord of the Rings that Konami USA stupidly applied to this awesome sword because they couldn't translate the name (along with 90% of the other names in the game...).

Use Alucart Mode*, luck potion, and there's some accessory that increases rare item drops as well.. Then it's just a matter of finding out what drops the item you want.. You are in Alucart mode when you equip the alucart sword, mail, and sheild.. It increases your luck..

Sadly, no. There is a glitch to getting to the tunnel of the underground garden, but it's unfinished and has only a save room at the bottom. I heard they were going to add the lost levels to the PSP version, but they ran into the deadline before they could finish the job and just left them out.

I got both Psx and the PSP version original and i know this map aswell as 2 new familiars and Maria is only in the Saturn version exclusive.

Psp version indeed has the 2 extra familiars but a whole different Maria which can practically only do 4 things and that is: Double jump, normal attack with pigeons that fly almost the same lenght as alucard sword, one skill D,F + Attack and get throwable weapon pickups like alucard.

Crissaegrim, which is a rare drop by Schmoo. I don't recommend getting it though, unless you already beat the game, as it is a VERY cheap weapon. You can practically beat any monster in the game in under 3 seconds with it as long as you're high enough a lvl with good gear. Even big baddies like Galamoth and Dracula don't last more than 10seconds against it on my game.

Personally, I prefer Alucard Sword. It was my favorite weapon at the start and my favorite weapon at the end. ^^

Crissaegrim... It's dropped by the "Schmoo" in the "Forbidden Library" in the "Inverted Castle". As you can see in the Video, it's one of the strongest swords in the game, since you literally walk through your enemies. It's fun to use if your just joking around, but if you use it to finish the game, I'm gonna consider you (like most other people you say the Crissaegrim is the best) gay. =)

the crissaegrim and the mourneblade are the only swords that you'll ever need to conquer SOTN.

crissaegrim is a rare drop from schmoo in the inverted library while mourneblade comes from azaghal in the inverted colosseum. the former slices and dices your enemies at lightning speed while mourneblade heals 8HP when it hits anything.
