you, mtuck, and thetoneking have gotten me sold on bugera.... ive heard about reliability issues with these things on how they will just die on you randomly... but ive also heard that thats and incredibly easy fix and ive also heard that bugera has sorted out those issues anyways... if you had to pick the best bugera head for blues to hard rock which would you choose?
@LedZeplican I'm currently using my 6262 for my tour. I've also used it a lot for rehearsals and jam nights in pubs etc. It's performed flawlessly so far, and sounds amazing whether playing my own stuff of classic covers.
@dingle1 awesome! thanks i was really in between the 6262, the 333xl, or the 1990 but from what ive heard the 1990 or the 6262 like you said would be the best for me... see im looking for a great marshall similar tones and i hear the 6262 is more of a peavey 6505 and the 1990 is the mock of the jcm 900... i love both the jcm 900 and the peavey 6505 so it will be a hard choice for me...
@LedZeplican About Bugera reliability. I have worked on them and can say you get what you pay for. Some problems I've had were basic fixes, if you just need a tube amp to last for a few years or a home practice amp then they are good. If you want to invest in a tube amp and have it for 10+ years then avoid Bugera. It's all plastic knobs and PCBs that need to be completely replaced when components start to fail.
@MrLane10 Oh, okay, well in the background is the 333Xl right? You're just hooked up too the 6262? They both sound great though. as far as a huge mid range amp and insane distortion.. which one would be better??
@MrLane10 If you watch carefully you can see the power light on the 6262 behind me. They both have insane gain and mids, just depends which voicings you prefer. The 6262 is basically a hot rodded 5150, the 333XL can be many things, I like it for it's Mesa like tone.
@dingle1 Cool, thanks a lot!! Also, one more question, I'm sorry haha. Since these are made in a different country. If you go to order it, will it always take a month or two to receive it? I read someone's comment where it took him like two months...
@MrLane10 It realy shouldn't do. It all depends on stock levels etc. If a store doesn't carry them, but will order them, you'll find the won't place the order until they have enough Bugera/Behringer products on order to make the shipping cost worthwhile. Thats how the business works, not always great for the consumer unfortunatey.
