  • there is so much co2 released during this process its bad.

  • @htkendall the human production of co2 is less than 1% globally, do you really believe the global warming lie?

  • @htkendall 1 volcano produces more co2 in one blast than any co2 out putmankind has ever created from the dawn of man and guess what douche bag the plannet has handled it just like it has for 120 million years dont beleive the media hype into fooling you that you need to pay carbon taxes in order to "protect the enviroment " bah

  • i mixed concrete today n wondered how they make cement

  • How do they make the How its Made show?

  • Breathing in cement is bad for your health. Cement is basically dirt and rocks burnt (cooked) black and crushed into ash powder. When water is added it becomes conCRETE.

  • as I understand they remove the co2 content from the raw caco3 and then when the cement start hardening it absorbs the co2 content again, but why it need water for hardening ???????????

  • i'm very curious of how people cope with the smell of cement powder... do anyone like the smell like i do? or can it be addicted if you keep inhaling it? and what are the danger of it if keep inhaling the smell? can someone please give me feedback on this.

  • @supdaman23 some dangers are the particles stay in your lung ( if small enough), lost of smell, and/ or nosebleeds(alot)

  • It is very informative video, though some details along with cement manufacturing are not standard in terms of both equipment and process.

    Thank you,

  • Now I'm ready to go take my test XD

  • @804186443 - I was taking a Concrete Construction Materials course, part of a Civil Engineering curriculum. This video was helpful for the first test.

  • Can anybody tell me what is the role of gympsum in concrete??

  • @nitz47

Add some gymsum in order to lower the speed of hydration of Tricalcium aluminate(C3A).

  • @guoweicai Thanks...

i've learnt that actually gypsum is actually added to promote workability...

i.e once water has been added, the concrete hardens. It becomes difficult to work with the concrete

Gypsum gives us enough time to handle the concrete.

  • cement head vs concrete head. hmm.

  • Reet old footage

  • It amazes me how so many people confuse cement as concrete. Although cement is only one of the basic ingredients of concrete. The other ingredient is Aggregates such as crushed small pieces of rock along with sand.

  • Excellent.. Loved this piece of inormation

  • excellent, thank u

  • Thanks.

  • what an old school plant 50 ton trucks and they have to be 20 years old my plant runs 100 ton trucks
