Unicycling is for side show acts and clowns. If you can make a buck unicycling, more power to you, but don't expect to get rich off it. Unicycling is a novelty. Since the creation of unicycles about 120-130 years ago, unicycling has been a novelty. Skateboards never really were a novelty, they were simply something for surfers to use when waves were flat. True, skateboarding dropped from popularity for about 5 or so years, but after that, skateboarding hit a massive boom in popularity.

skateboarding is not a novelty the term novelty is not an opinion. regardless of whether or not you think skateboarding is a novelty, the truth is that it is not one. unicycles were CREATED as a novelty. doing stunts with them is even more of a novelty.
