To the poster, I believe all the drum sounds were made from the printer, just from processing recordings of him physically hitting the printer, not hard when you know what you're doing.

By the way, the printer sounds were not recorded by Mistabishi. They come from an old Flextone (Atom Heart) track called "Printer" (released on Rather Interesting in 1994).

@lastmarine With all the work that he actually puts into tunes like these, I think that him pantomiming and "pretending" to DJ is easily forgivable. As long as he makes the actual music, I have no problem with it, he can pretend however much he wants, lord knows tons of other DJs do.

@lastmarine I'm not "hating you." Music is still playing and people are still dancing, so what's the problem? There's no difference between that and say a popstar lipsynching to a song in a performance. Making music is difficult. I'm not knocking DJs that actually mix and create music on the spot, but it's not something everyone can do easily and it takes time to learn, trial and error.

Wow. Podcast or not, the announcer managed to completely ruin the song with his horribly mis-timed voiceovers.:-( Glad I was able to find a clean copy to listen to.

That said, I actually suspect even the 'drum' beats were sampled printer sounds, just very short and quick. If it can make sounds like an air horn, quick short bursts akin to a drum beat shouldn't be hard for it to do, when sampled correctly.

As to the tune itself, clever. I was expecting a little more, tho, but ah well.
