Why the devil would aliens have built such a pit? If aliens wanted to hide some thing from us, all that they must do is whisk it up into space and there could be jack shit to be done by us. Now, what ever lies down there must be of MUCH value, otherwise no one would go through all the pains to build this pit. Had I to guess what lies down there, I would guess that it is the body of Jesus 'Christ' himself.... Either that, or alien technology (like the Arc of Covenant).

The only chance it has of being found and open to the public of what was found is 1)The government or a private company has not already found what it is and keeping it to them selves

2)A team of people go and find it and very fast they release the information to a very large amount of news media
