used to use those in computer class back in elementary. i bet there were newer models, but our school was ghetto and i hated those old things :] love the new macs though, just saved up and bought a mini.
I run my little ruby clone with NiMH hobby/RC car batteries (sub C size) with the recharge plug on the outside of the case, recharge at home or in the car. I've used an 8" ceramic Eminence and an 8" Al-ni-co I scored from a thrift store, Guess which one wins!

Where did you get your speaker? It sounds great! I am trying to locate a musical instrument speaker for a DIY project that is smaller than 8". Any idea where I could buy one? Thanks!
