The War UI is totally customizable, you can move all the pieces anywhere you want (without an addon). This vid is showing the basic unmodified one. You can chose alot more buttons also. And many features hide until needed. The game gears you up nicely with quest, influence (do PQ), & RVR rewards. Do them in each chapter for nice gear. Kill lord mobs to get the really uber gear. You also get money & exp for RVR & can lvl fast off of it. It's addictive. No wonder WOW's upgrade is copying war.

I am not sure, but i think you can turn yourself on or off for pvp in most places. It isnt going to be as bad as the Age of Conan open pvp system. I am installing the game as we speak, so i shall be able to confirm this later.
It can take a while to kill someone who knows what they are doing in War. Every character has morale abilities, & every healer gets a big heal off of their morale ability. Even healers can survive. You also have tactics which can affect dmg or heals. But every character has designed strengths & weaknesses, use these against your foe and they will die fast enough, but usually no where as fast in WOW or AOC. But if 6 guys attack you, you can get WTHeck powned. The RVR in BG's is pretty nice imo.
The core server U can pretty much chose where U want to RVR. Flagging yourself if U want. Healing an RVR flagged person makes U RVR flagged. Every zone has a RVR area. Each race in your realm has a different BG in each Tier (U can travel to even at lvl 1). Thats 3 bgs per tier + 3 RVR zones for 6 RVR areas per tier, on the core servers & the rewards for RVR are exp, money & gear. Each RVR area has quest. The open RVR has safe cities & the low level area are safe, the rest is RVR all the time.
As a matter of fact... WOW doesn't stand strong. WOW peeked early last year when over 13 million played it worldwide. but now just in the past year, 8 million of those people have quit and WOW now has a 2% of it's players quitting every month. i suspect it will gain some more people when Wotlk comes out. but unless they dramatically drop their prices of all product, the game will come to its slow but inevitable end... ^_^

In WAR you have RVR and PVP. PVP is the instance stuff and RVR is the land pvp. Thats preatty much how to explain it, its still pvp but just not in a Battlegrounds (WoW) talk

I'll give you a hint, Warhammer has been around since 1983, Blizzard as a company came around I believe around 1994. This is far the best online game so far :P I mean. IF you don't feel like starting you adventure by killing 5 spiders and 10 boars, you just join a scenario ! Yea. Even from level 1 ! , You will automaticly reach level 8 when joining, so you wont get ganked. But this is hold as long as you stay in the scenario :P When you leave you get your normal level, or well. You actually level in pvp ! Just like wow, you get a kind of reward point. Called Renown. But too, you get exp. ! Best way of leveling

I am in beta, and have played WoW a lot. This game is better by far, yes the graphics are similar but thats so you don't whine when the game lags(visual). WoW copied off Warhammer, Warcraft obviously copied the Warhammer series but hey, i love Warcraft. If you want to play a good game where not everything in interchangeable, play this game. Wow, this should win the "Ugliest graphics in a game released in 2008", hell it could also win "Ugliest MMO ever released."
It looks like they took the 1999 Everquest engine and slapped a little bit better textures on it.
Phantom of the Opera is an appropriate tune, for he was ugly and revolting to look at as well.

No, when you loot enemy players, the server generates a random chance to loot a random item. Just like with PvE mobs.

FYI Pre-order is limited supplies. So you might want you check with the retailer before purchasing pre-order cause you might not benefit from it.

This game has won my heart on the WoW vs WAR debate on my POV... I was deciding on both and used Youtube for a little help, and this video decided it for me. Ill see you on the Road to WAR!
Speaking of which, All open BETA ranks and names reset when the actual game comes out, correct?

Yes thats's correct. All characters created in the beta will be wiped from the servers on the 15th.

Man, you ignorant fools who keep posting that this looks like WoW need to do some basic research and figure out who inspired who. I'll give you a hint, Warhammer has been around since 1983, Blizzard as a company came around I believe around 1994. Since most of you can't even do the most basic of research I'll do the math for you...Blizzard came 11 years after Warhammer was already conceptualized. Of course, Blizzard is probably older than most of you.

This is far the best online game so far :P I mean. IF you don't feel like starting you adventure by killing 5 spiders and 10 boars, you just join a scenario ! Yea. Even from level 1 ! , You will automaticly reach level 8 when joining, so you wont get ganked. But this is hold as long as you stay in the scenario :P When you leave you get your normal level, or well. You actually level in pvp ! Just like wow, you get a kind of reward point. Called Renown. But too, you get exp. ! Best way of leveling

I've been playing the beta for some time now. And i can tell you. The beta is AMAZING ! Nearly no errors, just some few nips that gotta be fixed. It's a must try ! . Think the preoder price is about 44.90 euro or so... It's not out yet you gotta understand :P First on thursday, 18th september. But do me a favor, try it ! And play on Worlds Edge M. So far the best guilds play there ;) .

I am in beta, and have played WoW a lot. This game is better by far, yes the graphics are similar but thats so you don't whine when the game lags(visual). WoW copied off Warhammer, Warcraft obviously copied the Warhammer series but hey, i love Warcraft. If you want to play a good game where not everything in interchangeable, play this game. Some one said people who play this game failed at WoW. HOW DO YOU FAIL?

This game is also a PVE MMORPG, it's just more realistic, also some PVP isnt just fighting the other side, it's doing missions with your group while you fight the other side, so its like PVEPVP.
