I apologize but I think he's wrong. The Turkey Shoot(Not to be confused with the Marianas' 1944) at Upland was the years prior to 85'. Lance Mountain won the Turkey Shoot in 84'. I think that contest that he refers to in 85' was the last contest at Upland.
