5g has fm radio, 2.2inch screen (bigger screen than this) video, and sever other changes and tweaks, so Video isnt the only new thing, it sjust the mainly advertised thing. but really i must agree, if its your first time buying an ipod, i would say go for 5g, because thats what all the new stuff such as acsesories will be made for (in the nano type of ipod). but if you previously bought a ipod 4thg its just as good Dont be dum and buy a new one, thats dumb and its just what apple wants.

is it the same as this one? cuz if it is, when u plug it in, and it brings up ur ipods page on itunes, choose "only sync checked songs", then check the songs u want on ur ipod. then, on the side bar, click "...'s iPod" and push the sync button at the bottom of itunes and it should work.
