You went to Lexington, Kentucky (I lived in KY for a year) and asked people in the south about something other than Jesus. This is normal there. Try doing this same interview in Niagara Falls, NY, and see the answers.

That means the US has EASILY more persons with an IQ of 100 or greater than the UK( Over twice as many ). I expect a rebuttal about averages. The simple fact is US has A LOT larger population to educate. To lose only 2 IQ points given the population we do very well.

Its a flawed question. Most Americans are nice and are not going to question the interviewer. If you say you have a 20 hour clock then okay you know more about Canada than I. Like it or not most Americans could care less about Canada and have no plans to visit.

(UK Population 61,838,154 Average IQ 100) ----- (US Population 307,006,550 Average IQ 98) Ok, lets break this down. Clearly from the start the UK has a better average IQ, but lets look a little more. The US has a population nearly 5x that of the UK. Bigger population = a harder nation to educate and yes more of a chance for failure, so we get that. Not on the scale often stereotyped and we actually do VERY well education wise for the size of our nation.

the flaw in this interview is.....the answers given by the person being interviewed are based on the asumption that the interviewer is correct. It would be like me going around asking......."is the chinese dog worm a threat to global farming"......this assumes that there is actually a "Chinese Dog Worm"..(which there isn't).....so if you ask a flawed question you are likely to get a flawed answer

most people will just debate a topic that someone throws out.who wants to waste the time to research and find out facts on a topic (that has no importance in your life) when some random person comes up and throws out questions? .the reporter is also female,most people will trust a female over a male most of the time.when you ask me a question about a topic should i pull out my computer and do a two hour search in order to see if your full of crap or just give my opinion?

It all comes down to the nation that is leading the world in every facet of life style and politics will always take irrational criticism.Our decisions effect the world as a whole , so the pinheads will come out to strike at it to deflect their own sense of inadequacies and infantile frustration. Tend to your own country and if we are doomed to failure sit back and wait for your turn to rule the world .. Don't hold your breath to long though. I believe China has a shot at it by 2030
