There IS NO ONE like Jack.Bruce,Been ripped off in style,manner without so much tip oft a hat. Zeppies & Jimi Mandrax lovers take note from the bad cop .Ertegen head of Atlantic scraped together some session players & one "marqee' name ex-Yardbird Page,threw in a girlie singer plant gave the public a kinda Cream for mass consumption. Jimi came over from the States to check out Cream -he wouldn't have been able to handle Jack pushing him .He's cool for what he was a showman though.

Well, this is a performance you don't see (on video) every day.

Jack is out there-way out playing the 'nasal' vocal at the head-sounding like BOB DYLAN! Funny guy! Ginger has a nice spotlight on him and the 2 shot of him and Jack is interesting.

I must say the flash guitar solo, the 'Blues" does is new and inspiring. Jack definately takes note. With Cream, Ginger would take Spoonful and rev it into double time for the solo sections full of climax's and dynamics. Here he is just keeping time.

Cream WAS / IS better than Zep and Bruce is as accomplished a bass player as Jimi was a guitarist. Neither afraid to step out and try something. Page is actually very overrated as a player. Great song writer. Mediorce player.

JACK chose blues saraceno to 1.get as far away from eric clapton as possible. 2. have youth front and center to fight "dinosaur image".CLAPTONS people had approached jack and ginger with a CREAM REUNION! 26 CONCERT DATES AND A LIVE RECORD. THEN A STUDIO LP IF THEY COULD GET ALONG. JACK AND GINGER TURNED IT DOWN.....DID THIS TOUR FOR A FRACTION OF THE MONEY. I WAS GINGER'S AGENT AT THE TIME. I GOT OUT OF THE MUSIC PART AFTER THAT DECISION. BUT THEY HAD FUN ON THE TOUR, IT'S THEIR LIFE. LOVE THEM.

I, for one, am grateful. It was a chance-in-a-couple-lifetimes for me to catch them playing in the Galil of all places. Great concert, great production. Thanks Bill Graham! In a GuitarPlayer interview Bruce said he was impressed at the audition for the new trio when Blues blew up a Marshall first thing.

awesome,i saw this same band in las vegas in the early 80's in a small club calmity janes i think it was ,they were great and i remember the guitar players name which is how i found this!you tube is great for music research!

Though Jack Bruce is a little hoarse on this recording his voice still sounds bluesy. A great singer.
