@gayllah this is a legendary game between sAviOr who was bonjwa, dominating the starcraft scene back then against a relatively unknown Bisu who noone thought could win, and then Bisu did this build later called the Bisu build where you use corsairs to kill enemy overlords and harrass with DTs .. this was the first time anybody had ever seen this build and in the end he won the series 3-0 in a major upset ... in short: the toss won, the zerg ggs
@prplhz0r Wrong. The DT/Templar build existed well before this match. The strength of the Bisu build is that instead of classic Dt/Sair build, this build based on a Forge FE with Probes production cut, which delayed observer and templar tech but faster Corsair, which allowed Bisu to dominate the air, while maintaining a very strong mid-game economic.
1. Bisu is an EXTREMELY strong Protoss player, and even Savior loses.
2. YOU DO NOT GATHER YOUR OVERLORDS IN ONE PLACE! EVER! Especially against a Protoss. If an Archon, a High Templar, Corsairs, or a group of Dragoons get in, and dice up your Overlords, you are FUCKED! It's better to let them wander the map because usually one Overlord on its own is not a prime target, and it also gives you vision of the map.
Actually the major reason to never bunch up your overlords is that the protoss can move dts into your expos along with a handful of sairs and, since all your overlords are bunched up, kill the expo as you have no detection. The protoss will also generally include ground forces in that attack to kill any hydralisks that may be there to deal with the sairs. Thats why zerg can't mass expand anymore.

Savior just wanted a defeat after a lasting period of dominating every competition. It's hard to believe an experienced programmger like him let his unupgraded Overlords wander around instead of gathering them to be better protected.
To gather them would have been to blind himself to the Dark Templars, though! He had to have them "wander around" to see those things, or be pwned. Bisu, however, chased them away with his Corsairs, opening the way to kill of sAviOr's drones with the Dark Templars. The English-speaking commentators said this.
You are totally right about their lack of upgrades, though - if they had been faster, they might have helped him combat the DTs.

I watched this match live...and omg I was suprised...I play toss so my heart was with Bisu...even though I knew his chances were small...but he completely dominated savior in every game....not 1 game was even close :)

Savior took a beating when bisu gave him a spire delay. Does bisu have a nickname like savior? Savior's is maestro I know that.

Bisu developed the Forge+FE into sair+DT to combat Savior's early-expo style. I like to call it "econ rush." It works amazingly well.

Saviour is always so Overlord carefree in ZvP it's really frustrating.
All he needs do is build 2 spore turrets and place his goddam spare overlords over that and i'm not just talking about this game.
Having said that Coursairs do seem overpowered.
