  • Pretty good area if you ask me I just wish it was more like Olmsted Falls with a ton of grass to sit in. its pretty close to Bainbridge were I live so I like that.

  • Hey i am going to Berea and Eastlake during spring break to see some of my family members, i am going to watch/film trains at Eastlake and Berea on Monday and Tuesday. Do you know any frequnces i can put into my scanner? It would really help!

  • You aren't the same guy are you? I hope these videos you are posting are not Richards..

The reason I say that is because there is an identical video to this I saved which was made by Richard and had those same exact trains in it at the same exact locations along with the same detector.

We don't have a dual identity here do we?

  • No, Rich and I met in berea a few months ago. We've become very good friends since and we go quite a few places together. That, my friend, is why we see a plentiful amount of the same trains. I.E., tomorrow we will both be in Berea for Dave McKay Day for upwards of 12 hours, and sunday we will railfan some more. The fact of the matter is that it's just two good friends enjoying the greatest hobby on earth.

  • Hey that's cool.. I just was curious.

Best friends are what is keeping us all sane these days..

It's great you've got a best friend in railfanning. They are so few and far between. You are one of the rare lucky people to have a friend who enjoys what you do as much as he does.

Thanks for clearing that up and enjoy the fun times you guys have together ok?

  • Trust me, we are two separate people. We just railfan together alot. Like said, we met in Berea a few months ago, and have grown to becoming very good friends; that is all. :)

  • Great video Cody!!! What is this about the road flare incident? How did this come about?

  • Thanks alan! Jon's friend lit a road flare and chased jon, and apparently that didnt fly too well with somebody and now CSX police will be posted around at times... Which is a pisser.

  • sweet...apparently we "got in trouble" for the road flare incident the one guy the jon hangs out with works 4 csx and hear about that and now they re supposedly posting non marked csx police officers over there

  • Thanks dale! And if a CSX officer comes up to me and gives m any problems, I'll shove a road flare where the sun don't shine if you catch my drift.

  • Coolness!

  • Thanks!

  • Excellent video. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks!

  • Awesome!

  • Thanks trey!

  • Impressive video!

  • Thanks!

  • awesome video nice job 5*******

  • Thanks!

  • Wow, Cody. This is amazing. Incredible Nathans, incredible angles and zooms... and a Gp38-2!! I love them geeps! ha

Really great video as always, I really enjoyed this :D

    Kyle

  • Thanks a lot Kyle! This particular GP38-2 was rather interesting since on it's right side, it had a lightening bolt under the Road Number, similar to an AC4400CW, but on the left, there was no lightening bolt.

  • I've never been to Painsville, ive only been to Willoughby, Eastlake, Wickliffe and Berea OH

  • Yes now Eastlake! When i go to see my family i rail fan in Eastlake and Willoughby OH Great Video!

  • Thanks! I think Eastlake is a little better than Wickliffe, and Willoughby is better than Eastlake. But my favorite spot on CSX on the east side is Painesville
