@sandman423 well if u play online.. i guess u get w/e cards u want, but he played like 5 power 9 cards... u should win on the first turn if u play power 9
Great, now try to do it with a legal deck. I suggest you play UB/r since Cestral is restricted. I mean, you can legally can play 4 Contract from Below, as long as its for ante, which it is in Shandalar. The decklist wins with re-use of Time Twister (-Regrowth), building up huge amounts of black mana with Dark Rituals, Sacrifice, Animate Dead (target: Colossus of Sardia) and for the win: An enormous Drain Life. And that is possible with a legal deck, not 4 or more lotuses, just one.
First of all, This was done using the MTG game from Microprose which came out in 1997. It was truly a bad-ass game, and the designers for MTGO stole from it guiltlessly.
To all of you that say this guy is cheating, YOUR RIGHT. This is not a legal deck. In the description he says, "there is something similar to this somewhere online, but this is much more reliable". What an idiot. The worst part is, this is a horrible build of cheat.dec.
There is no reason to use islands in the deck, as the Microprose game allows you to mulligan if you have no lands in hand. Also, the game allows you to have more than four copies of a single card in your deck if you have the Tome of Enlightenment.
Also, I hate it when liars say they had a deck like this back when it was legal. There was never a DCI sanctioned tournament where the Power Nine were not restricted. I guess anything can be "legal" when you play with your friends...
If you're going to cheat, why not just go 20x Black Lotus, 20x Channel, 20x Kaervek's Torch? Even with a mulligan to four, you'll still probably turn 1 win. You can say the deck is ancient all you want, but the B/R list was released well before the internet (ergo, before playing magic with computer programs over the internet).
that's technically not one turn. Time Walk is take an EXTRA turn.

Generally, "legal" or not, it really doesn't matter when you're just playing with friends.
